This gym is very clean and has everything you could ever ask for. I do personal training here with Cameron. Cameron is the best personal trainer ever. He brings so much energy to every session. Even when I am not feeling my best Cameron finds a way to lift me up. He is very charismatic and will go far in his career. Stephan is pretty cool too.
Love this gym! I joined about 6 weeks ago and started personal training with Adam a month ago. The amenities there are great, tons of classes & the personal training is well worth the small investment. Adam makes my workouts fun while ensuring I get the results I want. He's teaching me about form, muscle groups, nutrition, & meal planning. They do a body scan so you can see where you're at and then they set up a plan from there to help you meet your goals. I joined month to month membership here when I temporary work in AZ. When I joined the sale guy told me I can cancelled the membership anytime if I no longer interest or move back to CA, but when I want to cancel it, they do not let me cancel it and keep charging me. They told me I have to write cancellation letter and mail to main office which I did but they still not cancel it.
Has to be the best gym in my area. There are 2 other mountainside locations I go to occasionally, 75th ave and the other off Tatum. The floor isn't crowded, stations are separated and not too close together. Also the bathrooms are the nicest out of the 3 that I go too. Other gyms I go to are LA fitness and metro flex, mountainside has the smoothest cable machines and more weight increments than most machines at other gyms done have.
I am a sucker for small local gyms as they usually have heavier dumbbells & unique machines. That said it's hard to best the cleanliness, locations, and amenities at Mountainside! A bonus is my littles love the childcare too!!
Zero loyalty. Paid on time consistently for over a decade. Canceled my membership during covid. Went to sign up again today and mountainside claims that I never canceled during covid (even though I showed them proof of the texts that I had sent them during that time.) I would have been a loyal customer again.... Guess I'm going to Lifetime.
Very clean gym, and has quite a bit of equipment. Staff is very friendly. I'm giving this three stars for a few reasons however. This lacks some equipment that Arrowhead location has. They keep it very warm and it feels stuffy. The lighting is not nearly as good as Arrowheads. The music is often very quiet, which won't be a problem for headphone users however.

This place is my happy place. I'm probably the most out of shape guy there but they don't judge and let me do my thing. They finally stopped taking temperatures which was a waste of time anyway. My only wish is that they provide bottle water even if they have to charge more.
