This gym plays their music super loud especially in the cardio area. Hard on the ears. It's impossible to hear your own head phone music or watch the TV. I have make management aware with no change. Just turn the volume down!!!!

This gym just reopened since the Covid-19 pandemic. Myself and husband are both members. We went in today just to see what safety precautions they are taking, of course being excited to get back to the gym. When I asked the staff about the precautions they were taking, they both were staring at me with no masks on and asked us if we were members. Equipment, Layout, Building all adequate. What makes this place 5 Star is the cleanliness and the staff. Joanne, Paige, Joseph and the morning crew are absolutely outstanding people. Always greet you with a smile, have a chat and provide old school customer service. Many of the patrons are friendly and cool as well. Moved out of the area but I endorse this gym. VERY CLEAN, towels never smelled, showers never smelled, always free of scum, toilet area always clean. Jeff Herb

Going to any gym isn't my first choice of things to do; I prefer going outdoors versus gyms. Prior to moving to Arizona, I used to frequent a community center gym which worked out great and was cheap. After moving to Arizona, choosing the right gym was even more important as I had changed careers, and my schedule fluctuated. I must update as I am no longer able to attend the gym due to the rampant illnesses running through the kids club. What was once a valuable perk, has now become the catalyst to my gym absence. I did ask the manager if it were possible to post a sign simply requesting parents to not bring their children into the daycare if they were obviously sick. Best gym I have ever been to! I drive the extra 20 minutes to hit this location. All new equipment, nice staff, and always clean. The hours are ideal too. Rush usually happens around 6-7AM. Jillian and Dean at member services were a great help making signup very simple. Tons of perks to Mountainside!

This place is going down hill as a lot of gym's do after opening, and I can see why after talking to their manager Tony. Tony sits there with a smug little smile and begins to tell me that all the things that were there when I signed up are no longer valid. He continued to tell me that the owner of a business can change anything at anytime, (thanks for the business 101 lesson). Great facility. Nice selection of classes. Locker rooms and showers are great. However, the staff do not appear friendly. Once you become a member they don't pay much attention or due diligence to answer questions. They need to be trained on retaining customers.

This place is awful. I fulfilled my 1 year contract. Then after the contract was up, they kept charging my card. I assumed, shame on me that once my contract was up, that I was finished. I moved, but fulfilled my contract. READ THE FINE PRINT!!!! LESSON LEARNED ON MY PART. I'm sure all gym's are like this. Shame on them. If I could give then no stars I would.
