One of the best gyms in Arizona. Super clean, Nice equipment, and always friendly staff. Quentin & Zenis always go above and beyond for gym-goers.
Business response:
Hi, Jeremy. Your appreciation is highly appreciated. Thank you for the review! Thank you, Mountainside Fitness
I recently moved into the area and spent time visiting the various gyms in the area. Mountainside Fitness was by far the nicest, cleanest, and most reasonably priced gym. I have had no issues so far and they have a very diverse array of equipment. Staff is also very friendly!
Business response:
Hi, Ashton. Thank you for taking the time to rate us! We are glad we could leave a positive impact and made it a good experience for you. Thanks, Mountainside Fitness
Just read the other reviews. I paid them an ungodly sum of money to get out but I'm glad I can just wash my hands of this place. And you'll want to wash your hands, it's disgusting.
I was looking for a new gym with childcare for my wife and 3 month old, so I went online on 8/28/20 and signed up for the 1 day trial pass and made my reservation to workout the following day. I showed up for my workout at the correct time, but was then told that due to the current circumstances they can not honor the 1 day trail pass anymore, but I could pay 15$ for a day pass. If they said we are not allowing day passes/trials during covid I would understand, but to say we won't allow you to use the pass that we gave you b... read more
Business response:
Hello - We are still offering a one day pass. Are you open to having someone contact you directly? We would love the opportunity to fix our mistake. We apologize for the miscommunication on our end.
To the wackos leaving 1 star due to them staying open, feel free to stay at home in your safe space ;) I applaud Tom Hatten for standing up for his beliefs, supporting the gym community, and as a ACTUAL member of this gym, have nothing but great things to say about the staff and facilities.
Business response:
thank you for your review!
Love you guys, and truly appreciate your support of the health and wellness community. I've lived all over the Valley in the past 10 years and have been to numerous gyms. This one is by far my favorite. Stay strong
Business response:
thank you for your review! We can't wait to see you back at MSF!
It's the best of any gym in the valley! Their customer service is amazing and they incredibly friendly. I always see someone sanitizing the equipment which makes me comfortable to work out here during the pandemic.
Business response:
Thank you for your review. We look forward to seeing you back at MSF!
UPDATE: I received a garbage response from someone named Grace who told me to "look on their website". There is no mention on their site of allowances made to freeze or cancel due to COVID, as she alludes. No way to contact her directly to clear it up. No one from corporate has responded - still- to the live message I left with their accounting dept. and now, with a Governer's orders to close, they are issuing PR stunt press releases claiming they will sue to stay open, and are refusing to follow the mandate. Clearly ZERO co... read more
Business response:
Hi Anne, Looks like there was some miscommunication. Members were offered a free 30-day freeze for the month of June if they did not feel ready to come back into the gym. We also offer up to 3-month freezes for anyone who still wants to freeze after June. You do not have to come in to freeze or cancel. We offer multiple options on our website FAQ.
Only reason for one star review is because we are experiencing and alarming spike in COVID and they don't open the door to let fresh air in anymore. So basically it's just recycled air in there. They do a good job of keeping it clean but what's the point if we are packed in like sardines? I heard they closed the door to save money on electricity. It's too bad the priorities are wrong and they can't come up with a better solution. What happens when one person is asymptomatic and spread the virus to everyone? I just think gett... read more
Business response:
Hi Susan - I can assure you that our clubs do not keep doors closed to 'save money on electricity'. With temperatures reaching over 110, our managers opt to have the door closed to keep members cool during their workout. Thank you for your feedback. I will be forwarding this to the club manager.
