We didn't know what to expect when my loved one had to go to a skilled nursing facility. Traz White was there to guide us along the way especially setting up our expectations and she helped us navigate what we had to do with insurance etc. She really put us at ease and made our family member understand and keep him comfortable especially during the shelter In place when it was tough to visit but she found ways for us to stay connected. What a caring and compassionate staff. Our family member suffered a stroke, and was transferred here through the grace of god. We get progress updates, and we know that his rehabilitation is progressing better than we expected! Speech therapist Becky has been outstanding. Calling regularly to share little things that are important to us. Not being able to visit him during covid is hard, and the staff goes above and beyond to ease our worry. I know he is in good hands and in a safe place. Thank you all.

Unfortunately my mom has had to be placed in a rehab/ care facility several times over the past 5 years. The last 10 months she has resided at Napa Valley Care Center. Today she was discharged and I honestly have mixed feelings about it because they have taken such amazing care of my mom. Just wanted to take a moment to thank the amazing staff at Napa Valley Care Center where my dad was for three weeks following a hip replacement. The facility is well run which is why most of the nurses have been at NVCC for years or decades. The aides often shared the same dedication and were often ambitious people working toward their nursing degrees. These are people who truly got into nursing to help others, and it shows. Napa valley care center has some very good qualities, and some very bad ones. everyone tries so hard but there are not enough people working there. the people I want to shout out about are Kayla pt, Hugo a nurses aide and William a nurses aide. they were so great and nice!

The team at NVCC did a great job for my mother-in-law after she fell and broke her hip. Almost nobody wants to go to a nursing home, or send their loved ones there, but when that kind of care is necessary, NVCC is a good choice. The nurses and aids are very caring. Michael, the aid at our part of hall 3, was mama's absolute favorite, taking such gentle and competent care of her every day. The therapy staff was entirely outstanding, OT, PT, ST. Emily Evans, one of the admissions directors, is an angel and extremely professional. She made us feel that we were family and went above and beyond to see that Dad got the care he needed to recover. As with any new visit to a facility, if you communicate your needs, they will respond. And they did. The physical therapy team is one of the best we've seen and were very creative with exercises for each persons needs with safety always as the first criteria. After having my Dad in another facility before being moved to Napa I had no idea how bad it was at that facility. Napa is a really nice place. The staff is very caring and compassionate. The Dr on staff actually took the time to sit and chat with my father about his sickness and symptoms of his health issues. This facility is located in the beautiful Napa valley. The staff is normally friendly and caring as the tenants here require a lot of attention and care. The management tries to keep this place clean and sanitized. I was only disappointed with the front desk receptionist when I asked for the wifi code and she didn't know. The rest is ok and there's room for advancement.
