I was advised to transition here from the hospital after falling and breaking my pelvis. Worst mistake. I left after 48 hours. Since I have nothing positive to say I will say nothing more. Just beware of you are thinking about this as an option for yourself or family member.

I had my mother in Napa care center and she received terrible care. The nurses were to busy to check on her, they just gave her her meds and that's all. She had lost 10 pounds and the dietitian didn't see her for over a week and when I told her how much weight she lost she told me that she weighed an incorrect amount. They had the wrong weight listed. When she was released she was very weak and no nurse looked at her before she left, they just released her. My dad stayed here for a few weeks after hip replacement surgery. I would not recommend this rehab facility as it is understaffed and patient safety is not a priority. Dad was first roomed with a patient who was known to be aggressive. They did not move dad until after he was physically attacked by the other patient. Then while in his new room, another patient who was suffering from dementia, continuously came into his room and took his things. The staff didn't think it was important. The physical therapy department here is excellent they really know what they're doing .......unfortunately the rest of the establishment does not be very careful sending your family members here because from my personal experience they really don't give a SHIT

This place is, I guess good overall? I had a bad experience with one specific CNA at this place. She didn't want to take care a patients need because SHE WAS TOO BUSY PICKING UP FOOD TRAYS. REALLY?? Yes, she used that as a valid excuse to not help us. She then went on to accuse us of telling another worker that we told the other worker that she didn't want to help us, WHEN WE NEVER SAID THAT. She did end up helping us, but with a bad attitude.

My mom was there for 3 weeks before She was readmitted to hospital in part because of the poor care she received at this facility. Nurses were nice. One of her big concerns was the lack of attention from a medical doctor. They said he would come by a when she was sleeping. Food is well below standard. She is diabetic and was served potatoes and pasta at almost every meal. Have nothing good to say about this facility. Mom refers to it as the house of hell. NVCC stole my mothers wheelchair and never replaced it after several attempts. Dr. Lippmann and Gina Dastrup (Kaiser Reps) were useless and should not be in skilled nursing. They never answer the phone or return calls in an appropriate time frame. After about 10 calls about the wheelchair I gave up. Horrible care facility. Dr. Lippmann saw my mother for the first time 10 days after admission...SMH

I would give this place zero stars if I could. Horrible facility. Horrible staff. Ridiculous Kaiser reps that lack common sense and should be fired. In particular Kaiser nurse care coordinator Gina Gastrup. I hope she or her manager reads this - Untrained and unskilled at her job. Deserves to be fired and banned from the health care industry. My mom had surgery for a fractured leg and was placed here for rehab since she will not be able to walk for 3 months. She was there for 4 days and only had 2 PT sessions no lon... read more
