RecommendedI have, unfortunately, had 2 of my sweet cats treated and ultimately put to sleep here. While very difficult, the staff couldn't have been better. Dr. Julie Burford was there for both and gave a very honest opinion of what was best for each of them, the options, the expectations, etc. I am so thankful for how kind they have been to us during 2 very trying times in our lives.
Our dog was hit by my son-in-law, both hips were affected. We brought Winnie here, and from the beginning, they informed me of everything they needed to do. They contacted me at least twice a day. Everyone there seemed to love Winnie as much as I do. I would absolutely recommend NVS for any emergent needs! Winnie has full use of one of the hips/legs, and limited of the other. I had to rush my 12 yr old Boston Terrier, Jameson, in yesterday. He was in failing health and had taken a huge turn for the worse. The team here were so incredibly sympathetic and loving to him and me as I held him close one last time. Thanks to all of them for helping me through it! They are an amazing staff. Laura Wheeler

My sweet Midnight had an unexpected fall late Saturday night when my vet was not open. He couldn't stand up, really scared me. I was frantic and looked up late night vets on internet. That's when I found NVS, The staff met us at the door and the entire staff including Dr. House treated us and Midnight with great compassion. Turns out he had a soft tissue injury and would heal with time. They gave him a shot for pain and sent us home with enough meds for a couple of days as needed. Everyone there is very caring and professional . They answered all my questions without rushing through , and wanted to make sure I had a through understanding of the care my pet was getting . They were very understanding of how much I was concerned about him . I really liked the way they spend time with you and give you regular updates including a follow up call to find out how he was doing after he got home . Would HIGHLY recommend them .

They treated her and when I left she was better but within in an hour she was having difficulty breathing again and I took her back. There was no charge for the follow up and they were able to prescribe meds that stabilized her for what was concluded to be a asthma attack. by Mon she was feeling so much better she actually played with her baby and was begging for my dinner.
