My sweet Midnight had an unexpected fall late Saturday night when my vet was not open. He couldn't stand up, really scared me. I was frantic and looked up late night vets on internet. That's when I found NVS, The staff met us at the door and the entire staff including Dr. House treated us and Midnight with great compassion. Turns out he had a soft tissue injury and would heal with time. They gave him a shot for pain and sent us home with enough meds for a couple of days as needed. Everyone there is very caring and professional . They answered all my questions without rushing through , and wanted to make sure I had a through understanding of the care my pet was getting . They were very understanding of how much I was concerned about him . I really liked the way they spend time with you and give you regular updates including a follow up call to find out how he was doing after he got home . Would HIGHLY recommend them .

I had to rush my 15yr. old Grace (a cat) in on a Sat nite and they immediately began to check her out. They treated her and when I left she was better but within in an hour she was having difficulty breathing again and I took her back. There was no charge for the follow up and they were able to prescribe meds that stabilized her for what was concluded to be a asthma attack. by Mon she was feeling so much better she actually played with her baby and was begging for my dinner. We have had two emergencies this year with two of our pups. Both times we were referred to NVS, and our vets called them to tell them we were on the way. The first pup was my Nala who broke her leg in half at 6 months old, and needed a plate, and six screws! She's almost 6 lbs now, so she was even more 'teeny tiny' a couple of months ago! Dr. Roach answered ALL of our questions, and listened to our concerns. He was awesome! Weds morning we woke up to one of our other pups, Sophie, unable to use her back legs. She was paralyz... read more

My 14 yo chihuahua gave us a scare last week. She has a heart condition and in the middle of the night she made this terrible moaning sound and then lost consciousness! We immediately took her to NVS and they kept her overnight and treated her with oxygen therapy among other things. They took good care of her and she's back home and adjusting to her new meds. This place is pretty expensive though, so be aware when you're taking you pet there. And they require a large deposit up front before any treatment will be done, which ... read more
