Dr. Bowe is the best!! I had to bring my dog in on Sunday because she couldn’t walk on her back legs. He did a thorough exam and no unnessary tests and spent the time with me and explained what he thought was wrong and what I needed to do. I was very scared and so thankful for his help. Thank you!!

My two puppy's 7 months and 9 months, were diagnosed with parvo and my 7 month old Max his intestines completely shut down he was shutting down, just lifeless, and on the verge of dying. I rushed him in and with him being there a week he lived and is an extremely playful puppy! (: My 9 month Roscoe, he was very drained and just wouldn't move he is on a quick recovery. If you find yourself in need of a specialist, this is the place to be. Dr. Vancil (oncology) is an amazing vet. Very thorough, straightforward and explains everything without an ounce of ego. I was very impressed by the staff, doctor, and facility. I would recommend this clinic to anyone, and I am extremely picky and hard to please when it comes to my animals.

Sam found an injured dog injured last week and took it straight to Nashville Veterinary Specialists. They are so knowledgeable and caring- and we all had a happy ending! Thanks, NVS, for putting your customers- both human and animal, first!

I was so very pleased with the Veternarian my dog visited. I felt he gave her a thorough exam and explained his concerns for her following a fall of about 25’. She was sore but treated like a baby human and they found no sign of broken back or forearm’s in x-rays. The Doctor gave her a through check and did not frighten me with possibilities of what could or may happen just brief facts and concerns. I brought Puppy, my 9 year old best friend in for a cancer screening after my regular vet was suspicious of some lumps. Dr. Vancil gave Puppy a brief examination and then gave me a very informative talk about what he thought was going on ( fatty benign lumps) and tests that were needed to confirm his opinion. He was honestly the most straight forward and knowledgeable vet I've ever seen. I wanted to thank your staff for their incredible kindness this weekend (Saturday night and Sunday). Although I didn't have a previous relationship with you, you accepted my kitty, Yuki after she died so she could rest with you over the weekend until Pet Angel opened on Monday.
