I have been here three times. All under panic and at the last minute. It is like Vandy for pets. They gave me the sweetest final hours of my nearly 15 year old shitzu and calmed me with my new 5 month old post surgery. I cannot think of another place to go after in an emergency.

I do not recommend this place at all! They did not examine my cat in front of me, all he wanted to do was put him under more and more tests. Also read the stories about the poor bunny and fiv positive cat. I will not return to this place!

Horrific. I'm not surprised that they killed this cat after one day after reading their Google reviews. There are lots of comments about how little empathy and kindness they have. There are so many vets and animal hospitals that go above and beyond when it comes to animals in need. Choose wisely when you're picking the one you're giving your $$ to.

I read the post on the Cat Shoppe's wall about the FIV+ kitty that you killed after one day. One day is not enough time to find a home or a foster home for a cat , which you should know. There are many really active cat networks here in TN and in KY. If you give us a few days, we can almost always find a home. It breaks my heart that you didn't give this cat a chance.

I read about the cat that you killed yesterday b/c a home couldn't be found for him in one day. There's no excuse for this kind of callousness. One day is too little time to find a foster or a permanent home for an animal. It sounds like you didn't even treat him completely b/c you were waiting to see if anyone would take him. That violates just about every ethical and moral code that I can think of and you claim to be 'care givers.' For shame.
