Get directionsI don't live in Nashville or even close. I travelled 4 hours to come to this place. I have a long hair chihuahua. He has allergy issues and so at the time we were having some trouble with his ears. My local vet gave me some medicine to put in his ear, called Otomax. My family and I noticed that his hearing was gone one evening. It didn't matter what noise you made, he didn't hear it. Unfortunately, we didn't put 2 and 2 together that it could be the medicine clogging it until after we had given him 3-4 doses in each ear. We ... read more
We have been referred to this clinic two times. Both because our older boxer has torn his ACL. Last year Dr. Roach did an amazing job fixing the first side. So we went back when it happened again on the other side. However, when Dr. Roach saw how our dog was walking this time, he knew something else was wrong. He said that he thought there was something Neurologically wrong with him. While this is something that came out of left field for us, it was an honest assessment from a doctor who could have just fixed what we went fo... read more
You have someone who works there, Ashley Wuff, that hates dogs. She has publicly said that she is happy that police are allowed to shoot family's dogs. It doesn't matter to her that police have admittedly entered the wrong home and shot dogs, she doesn't care. Her own words, "People are blaming the cops for doing their jobs", i.e. killings dogs. IS this the kind of person that you want touching your animals and what kind of Vet office hires someone like this... I will NEVER take my animals to someone who has no regard for ... read more

Probably one of the nicest veterinarian clinics I've ever been to with a waiting room the size of an apartment free drinks snacks very clean and nice. The office staff and that was incredibly nice took their time with me and went into great detail explaining the procedure my dog /loved one of needed.. I would have given them five stars if it wasn't for the fact the office visit was 130 bucks and the procedure that normally cost 1500 to2000 was going to cost $3,100 here.. if you're rich it's the place to go. But if you make a... read more
This is the worst run collection of people that I have ever seen. I work closely with a regional dog rescue group and one of the dogs that I personally foster came into the rescue with a missing a back foot. We raised funds and chose to get a prosthetic for him so that he could enjoy a more normal life and run with his brother and sister in the backyard instead of literally laying down and crying every afternoon because he physically can't keep up. The staff at Nashville Veterinary Specialists have been the most inept, inc... read more

Took our dog to this specialist after 2 previous vets couldn't determine if our dog had a food or environmental allergy. $500 later and they said we would have to do a food study to rule out a food allergy, and we left just as clueless as we walked in. Meanwhile our dog is losing all of his hair. We made an appointment with another vet who is going to do blood allergy testing on the first visit for $300 to 100% determine if it's a food or environmental allergy.
