Back in January my dog Piper had an elevated Creatinine level of around 7.9 when I took him to my regular vet, 5 Points Animal Hospital. I was told to take him to This vet on Sidco because he would have to stay a night. Dr. Grace at 5 Points made it clear this was a very serious situation and she called Sidco to let them know we were on the way and PIper needed to be seen ASAP. When we got there, we waited for over an hour in the waiting room while Piper was very sick. Finally, after complaining, they put us in a room. We we... read more

NVS to me is the Vandy of the Veterinary world. Vandy is our only local level 1 trauma center. If I was in serious trouble, this is the place I would want to be. When my pets are in trouble, NVS is the only place I would want to be. Our first experience with NVS was with our first Yorkie Sasha back in 2015 - 2016. She had a bad mitral valve and would have coughing fits where she couldn’t breathe. NVS saw her several times and helped pulled her off of the first couple until her little heart just gave out. The last time, the... read more

I brought my Boston Terrier, Chloe, in because she was limping and her regular vet could not determine the cause. ER vet recommended neurological exam by Dr. House who then recommended a MRI, which I agreed to. I left Chloe with them so they could work her in. Dr. House calls and said she found a tumor and recommended we see the surgeon, Dr. Roach. When I picked her up she was practically comatose from the anesthesia and it took 3 days before she fully came out of it. Also she was limping when I brought her in but left there... read more

My dog Hambone had a rough October and had 2 major surgeries. The surgeons were great and the Dermatologist there is amazing but the administrator is in the wrong position. Before I went there I looked through the negative reviews and sent words of sympathy to a few who had a negative experience. After Hambone had his first surgery, the administrator wanted to have a full conversation with me due to Dr. House's feelings were hurt because I hit the sad button and tried to comfort someone who had a negative experience. I ... read more

I think that no matter what anyone says, they deserve way more money than what we pay! They rock! My first dog (toy poodle Lovey Lamb [RIP]) was ignored when he was in respitory distress two yrs ago & couldn't stand up at 10 yrs old and had just had a perfect comprehensive exam, and the stupid receptionist (w/ awesome vet staff, otherwise) ignored him...after an hour hands me pamphlet for NVS. Got there, he had terminal congestive heart failure...I'm a nurse. He was in ICU, but prepared me that he wouldn't make it. After r... read more
