Poor quality engineered products and even worse for support. Navien has deemed their water heaters and the combi boilers as NON-Serviceable units. Despite providing part numbers in their manuals. They REFUSED to provide gaskets to re-seal the burner to the heat ex-changer on a combi unit. Instead the want to sell you a replacement heat ex-changer that comes with the gaskets...(2 pieces). These are "Disposable" boilers/heaters that are prone to plugging up on the combustion side and are apparently not meant to be cleaned and ... read more

Flashpoint, I'm really sorry you feel that way. But I do need to correct some misinformation here. It's true we do not sell every single individual piece as a stand-alone piece. We sell parts that are pre-assembled for installation. I think that's true of most manufactures. Also, our manuals include instructions for the annual maintenance, because tankless units do need to be serviced on an annual basis to avoid the waterways from getting clogged. The Absolutley worst customer service or tech support. Over an hour n half on wait just to speak to someone. Absolutley ridiculous, this is only one reason why as a service tech I would never EVER sell a Navien to a customer.
