We are without hot water til Monday. Our system is only 3 years old and although covered by warranty, we have to wait for 3 days for part to be delivered and then PAY someone hundreds of $ to have it installed. This is a brand new system that should of lasted more than 3 years!!! Thought we were doing the right thing going with a tankless system. And fyi no one tells you if the power goes out you dont have hot water with a tankless system. NEVER AGAIN

We have had nothing but issues with this system. We have had numerous technicians to our home and as well have gone long periods of time in the middle of the winter with no heat! We just spent the Christmas holiday with company at our home and a heating system that constAntly shuts down. We have woken up to a house at 47 deg multiple times! I have had my system for a month now. I would not recommend this product to anyone for 4 reasons. 1. When purchasing a hot water system the objective is to have hot water (not so) 2. The system keeps failing ( I get e 003 codes almost daily) 3. I have had two Navien Service people come and tell me the system is fixed or ok ..and 4 I have to wait minutes for hot water in certain parts of the domain, Its Xmas eve and I have had 4 e0003 codes this after we installed a 1 inch gas line and checked gas pressures.

I am on my third unit in less than 10 years. Warranty is good but it’s the labor costs that kill me. Why should I have to pay for the replacement cost three times. Lost a lot of $$$$. I still worry all the time if the new one will break down anytime soon.

We have a Navien. Do NOT buy this! It has been out for 2 weeks. They replace 1 part at a time to test if that’s the problem. We are on the 3rd part. They don’t care that my family can’t shower. The unit is less than 2 years old. Horrible customer service. They have to follow protocol and go through 1 part at a time. No hot water for 2 weeks. Help!!!!!

I bought a 240CR about 10 years ago. While being maintained even though Navien had nothing in there book about it. I have replaced so many parts in this unit I could have built my own. The latest is the thermistor. This part rusted and filled my basement with 3 inches of water. After replacing now the unit won’t hold heat. I’m thinking a defective part. This whole unit is a defect. My unit requires motor and circuit (less than 4 years old still under warranty) I have been advised that no distributor in Ontario has the parts in stock as they are back ordered from Navien and there is no way to expedite. So my family will now be without hot water for at least 10 days. Had I known that parts would be obscure I would not have chosen this brand.

Worst product ever. I have a 6 year old unit and have replaced all parts on it and still having issues with it bad lemon!!!! Mother board twice and multiple other parts sight screen caught fire and melted and thank god I was down stairs and smelled it burning or I would of lost my house!!!! Really wish I could leave a good comment but I can’t...
