do NOT have one of these installed in your home! They are junk and Navien will NOT stand behind them. They do everything they can to void any bogus Warranty they claim! I promise YOU---after hours and hours of trying to get help--they hope you go away!! I've never had a worse PRODUCT installed in my home and NEVER had worse customer service after the install. RUN--do NOT purchase these UNITS!!

Absolute horrible service. I've been without heat for over 2 weeks in Northern Minnesota because Navien's brand new boiler doesn't work and they don't care enough to have a technician help their certified installer get it working. It gets to -70 degrees here with windchill and I have my three small children living without heat. Completely ridiculous and unacceptable. Navien needs to make this right. They tell you to download an app but won't even answer the phone to give you the code you need to get into the app. 10/10 DO NO... read more

I'll agree - this thing is really a piece of crap. Broken after 1 month, tried to blame it on install, parts sent to me twice now. Still no working water heater. The "Navien certified" repair has been on hold for a total of 2.5 hours now - of which I have to pay for. I wish I hadn't trusted my installer to buy the "best one". I should have read the other reviews first. Same issues as others are having error code 003. The only thing left to replace is the circuit board. My unit failed on OCTOBER 13 and again on MOV 28th with a few weeks of installation, NAVIEN HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE , they have no technicians who can come and diagnose they ask you to call your own plumber and have him call them and then they PUT YOU ON HOLD FOR OVER AN HOUR and then agent never comes back, I have two kids in this house 5 and below , and in this cold they have NO heat or water

Complete piece of crap, and terrible internal processes and policies for handling issues. I know of several people who have had a Navien unit installed in their home only to have it fail within 2-3 years, and the company’s standard practice is to decline warranty based on random installation errors they claim to identify over FaceTime calls with local technicians. It’s a total racket so they never have to honor the warranty because they can always find some screw loose, or some drip spot. Ours was installed and almost immed... read more

Had a new Navien boiler fitted and associated heating control system fityed in the summer. It is rubbish. The control unit cannot communicate with the boiler, despite trying to reset it numerous times. I would not recommend this equipment. Do not waste your money. Buy from elsewhere.

we had a Navien Combi Unit installed a year ago. on 10/17 we tried to get the heat to work and got an error code that required a service call the contractor sent someone who mumbled that he didn't work on these units. he was put on hold by Navien for 40 minutes. so far two parts have been replaced and still no hot water or heat. At least we had hot water ten days ago, now we have neither. we have left messages at Navien, no response. haven't heard from the contractor in two days the same service tech left after his... read more

Our heat exchanger had a pinhole leak. The unit is only 4 years old so the warranty eventually covered the new part (after trying to work around this issue with another potential fix) but the labor added up to over $850 which was not covered. The tech had to take apart the unit and put it back together to install the new heat exchanger. If they just sent a new unit this would have been much less. I expected a higher quality product from a manufacturer like Navien or at least for them to make it right if the product fails... read more

3-4 year old unit that we have spent around $600 in labor to replace parts that the Navien Support Tech has recommended. The unit continues to error and will not heat our water. We are going on three weeks without hot water. I sure hope that Navien does the right thing and warranties this unit for a new one. Frustrated customer that loved the unit when it worked!
