Had a new Navien boiler fitted and associated heating control system fityed in the summer. It is rubbish. The control unit cannot communicate with the boiler, despite trying to reset it numerous times. I would not recommend this equipment. Do not waste your money. Buy from elsewhere.

we had a Navien Combi Unit installed a year ago. on 10/17 we tried to get the heat to work and got an error code that required a service call the contractor sent someone who mumbled that he didn't work on these units. he was put on hold by Navien for 40 minutes. so far two parts have been replaced and still no hot water or heat. At least we had hot water ten days ago, now we have neither. we have left messages at Navien, no response. haven't heard from the contractor in two days the same service tech left after his... read more

I also want you to know that the plumber you hired is independently owned and operated and Navien does not have service companies we partner with. Our heat exchanger had a pinhole leak. The unit is only 4 years old so the warranty eventually covered the new part (after trying to work around this issue with another potential fix) but the labor added up to over $850 which was not covered. The tech had to take apart the unit and put it back together to install the new heat exchanger. If they just sent a new unit this would have been much less. I expected a higher quality product from a manufacturer like Navien or at least for them to make it right if the product fails... read more

3-4 year old unit that we have spent around $600 in labor to replace parts that the Navien Support Tech has recommended. The unit continues to error and will not heat our water. We are going on three weeks without hot water. I sure hope that Navien does the right thing and warranties this unit for a new one. Frustrated customer that loved the unit when it worked!

I am very upset and frustrated with our Navien tankless furnace /hot water heater. We purchased ours 5 years ago, experienced issues twice that were fortunately under warranty…. And then, like clockwork, just after we passed the five year mark our unit started leaking gas (at dangerous levels) and ultimately corroded so much on the inside that it is 100% unfixable. You are correct that your unit’s 5-year parts warranty has expired. However, the heat exchanger warranty should still be active and that is most likely the location of the issue you described. We’ve been waiting on a part to repair our tankless water heater since Tuesday. We still do not have our part thus no hot water. Now they’ve told us we won’t have the part until Monday! Completely unacceptable! The customer service is horrible. They are not helpful at all!

If you are looking for a company that doesn't stand behind their warranty you have come to right place. Just got off the phone with a "senior tech". Our water heater is supposed to have a 10 year warranty on the Heat Exchange. I was just told they will not cover it because Texas had a freeze 2 months ago. Never mind we have been using the tank since then with no issues and that it is in an insulated attic in a home that never lost power. Only 4 years old and every year something else has to be replaced. So sick and tired of this unit. My family has been without heat in this house for over A MONTH! And this is not the first time.
