This company has the worst product. We have not had this product since January 2017. It has had to have 3 repairs. And we go without hot water for at least 4-7 days each time it screws up. And no one seems to care the unconvinced of this product. No we are without water and we are also being told that we have to replace these parts one of which have already been replaced already (the motherboard). I would never recommend this product. I can't join the navien groups? Because I only install 10 a year, and under a plumbing contractor? Discrimination is what I'm seeing. Which sucks to see such pessimistic minds. I'm done using your products. I will no longer recommend navien to anyone who is inquiring.

Hi Adarrio, we are sorry about this experience. At Navien everybody is welcome and we equally value all our contractors, no matter the number of units they install. Navien is not affiliated with any groups on social media, blogs, forums, etc. Since Navien does not administer any of these groups, we do not determine the eligibility to join them. The administrators of those individual groups determine their own rules about joining each group. This is the only official Navien Facebook page.
We have experienced several issues with our tankless water heater, and we have only had approx. 4years. To make matters worse the customer service is as bad as the system. Every day we have to unplug and plug back in the system to get hot water. We have tried working with our plumber and Navien on a resolution and Navien refuses to warranty their product. I wouldn’t recommend this product or this company.

the units are too complex and break too often. I have a combo unit that in 5 years has needed over 5 repairs and I need to pay two service calls to my installer each time. 1 to diagnose the problem and another service call to fix the problem. I regret having bought a Navien product

?? Potential buyers.... PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE PURCHASING FROM THIS COMPANY. Look at the complaints on the BBB and the tasteless responses from this company on the complaints posted. Poor, very poor communication and their customer service skills is some of the worst I have ever experienced. This company does offer a warranty which is a great seller but it DOES NOT stand behind their product and does not honor their warranty that they advertise. This company sells nothing but garbage. We installed our residential combi boiler about 5 years ago. I’ve lost count of the times that we’ve been without heat and hot water. Tonight is now the 3rd time in 4 months. Really sucks that my first responder husband can’t take shower after work where he’s exposed to Coronavirus. Thanks for nothing Navien.

Our boiler was installed brand new. At 6 years it started having issues with an error that the service company cannot resolve, even with the help of Navien tech support and engineering. Navien will not cover any of it under warranty or even provide a solution to fix the issue. Beware of the CH-240 units and support from Navies..
Customer service and tech dept is terrible. Our repair guy called them to fix a problem we had and they just started having them put in new parts. Our water heater was making a strange noise when it ran. They actually had them put on a new exhaust outside that was longer and thought that was the problem after it ran fine for several years. The actual fix was an 88 dollar part plus an hour of labor. This cost us 700 dollars due to all the new parts and repeated trips out to fix it for the repair place. Awful customer service. Reps get little attitudes when callers know as much or more than them. The reps answering the phones should watch a few YouTube videos like all other navien owners do because our units need so much attention, they may learn some and be able to keep up in a conversation and not get lost understanding how these mediocre boilers work.
