Have seen Dr Viens twice in the past year for foot issues, once where surgery had been recommended by other health care providers. In both cases non-surgical and non-invasive options were encouraged. I have found his recommendations to be effective and successful for me. I trust him. He is personable, straightforward and willing to try non-surgical options first.
My Son had surgery on his foot approximately a year ago. I began to have problems so, I searched months for the name of the surgeon. One week ago I found him - Dr. Viens. I was seen within the week, and I’ve already began my treatment. Thanks again Dr. Viens I am now locked in.

Excellent bedside manner. He takes time to answer my questions and help me understand. Keeps me informed. He cares about my healing and recovery. He discusses pain management. He is very personable. I look forward to seeing the outcome of his surgical work as I am only 2 weeks post op ankle surgery and healing.
Had my first appointment with Dr. Viens and I had a great experience. Everyone was so nice. Dr. Viens took time to talk and LISTEN to my concerns and history before making any recommendations. I am glad I saw him for my issue.
Dr. Veins, was very nice and had good bed side manner. He reviewed my chart took the time to exam my foot and speak with me. It wasn't rushed or feel like I was a number.
Dr. Viens was efficient, direct and very helpful.
I saw Dr. Viens for a 2nd opinion months after surgery at another practice while experiencing continuing pain. In my case, he was against additional surgery, so he is definitely not knife happy. He spent a good amount of time with me explaining my condition, reviewing x-rays, giving non-surgical treatment options, and offering pain management suggestions. Dr Viens has been my foot doctor for about 6 years. He is very informative and will not push if you are not ready for surgery.
