Very friendly and caring! Answered all questions to ensure I was well -informed about my injury and options for recovery.I’m comfortable with him performing ankle surgery I need. I trust what he explained to me.His nurse, Chelsea, was equally nice and very professional.
I have seen Dr.Viens twice and both times the visits were concerning my ankle. He was very thorough, looking carefully at my X-rays, before giving me the evaluation. I had seen two other foot and ankle specialists and Dr. Viens was the first one to want to try a cortisone injection. The first cortisone injection helped my pain tremendously for about 3 and a half months and today, I got my second injection. Dr. Viens is not only an expert in his field but he takes the time to listen, think through possible diagnoses and contemplate various treatment methods. I have a somewhat complex scenario and he really took the time to listen to me, explain conservative next steps and guided me in a way that I completely trust.

Dr. Viens provided me with a very clear idea about what was going on with my foot using visuals, comparisons and a bit of humor. He explained my options with the up an down sides about them all of them. I will definitely tell my friends about Dr. Viens and return for future visits!
It had been two years since Dr. Viens did surgery on my foot. With EmergeOrtho’s network, because I live in Wilson, he know exactly what was happening with my foot. Dr. Viens had his staff are very good people and professionals. They always go the extra mile in seeing that their patients get the best care. Great People!
4 years, broken ankle twice, 2 specialists and my PCP who blamed my weight. Dr. Views is the only one that took me seriously and found multiple issues due to lack of treatment. My surgery was scheduled quickly and I was given realistic expectations for healing. I couldn't recommend him enough.
Even though I had to wait about 45 minutes to see Dr. Viens, I did not mind. I am very patient waiting for a doctor because I know cases come up that take more time than others.
