Get directionsThey brought up often how they most likely wouldn't be able to figure out what the problem was which I guess is fair because they didn't discover the issue after her being overnight for 3 days. They immediately started doing expensive tests without doing any basic ones like a fecal test. They did not call back when they said they would. Will not be bringing my dog back here.

I brought my critically ill cat in on a late Wednesday night. They were quick to diagnose him with an upper respiratory infection, prescribed some meds and sent us on our way. I should have advocated harder as I knew there was something else wrong. Not even 36 hours later my sweet boy died. NIVES failed him.

I brought my dog in with sudden explosive bloody diarrhea, received poor medical care, and then saw the hospital’s records written to make it look like more had been done than actually was - and to make his symptoms sound far milder than they truly were. Instead of urgently investigating the cause, they stopped at a vague syndrome label - “Acute Hemorrhagic Diarrhea Syndrome.” That’s not an explanation, it’s just a description of symptoms. Not even an abdominal exam, rectal exam, or temperature check was done, and I was tol... read more

Our dog was hit by a car around 9pm, we rushed him to nives. They were busy but got our dog back right away, doctor was super kind. That’s where it went downhill. They aren’t great with communication. They didn’t do his surgery until the next afternoon. And then it was a different doctor. The girl that told us discharge info was not the best and didn’t really give us the info we needed. We had an issue with a wound opening up and immediately called and was told to send pics to their email. Hours went by and I kept calling.... read more
Absolutely terrible advice! Was told a $12k surgery or put my dog down! He's up walking 2 days later!
My small dog had watery diarrhea, vomiting, fever, lethargic not eating and barely drinking. We were told it would be a 3 to 4 hour wait. 6 hours later we left. The only information we got was the price of a visit 200.00, blood work 300 and xrays 380. seems they only care about the money. I have no problem with paying for care, but to get there at 5:30 and be told after 6 hours of never being seen it might be a couple of more hours we left. What a disgrace and disservice to claim to be an Emergency Animal Hospital. I watched... read more
More than disappointed with the service we received for my dog. She was taken in to receive treatment for a nail that had completely split and had a significant amount of bleeding. While they did trim and clean and wrap that injury, they also cut the rest of my dogs nails while she was under sedation and caused 3 more of her nails to bleed! When she returned home and we got her comfortable to recover, is when we noticed the drops of blood coming from 2 different paws than the one that was treated. I called immediately and th... read more
