Unless you have between $500-$1000 to pay just laying around don’t bother coming here. They basically force you to apply for a Scratchpay & care credit. They never call about your bill balance although you’ve paid money upfront and set up a payment plan. So you’ll get refused while your animal is in pain and you’ll have nowhere to go bc no vet in Allen County accepts animals without an appointment.

Business response:

Mr. Ladd- thank you for your response, we value your feedback. We try to keep you informed about costs and offer different financial options as much as we can. If you have further concerns, please call the hospital at 260-426-1062. -Emily Ferber, Administrative Assistant

i waited around 3 hours. was told by vet he would address gi only after i asked about a few other things concerning me. never explained all the meds given. one drug was 80.00 and made my dog very lethargic. had to go to my vet today for different eye drops. your vet didnt even look at my dogs eyes. wait 2 hours alone in the room with a dog barking nonstop. no check ins or anything. wasnt impressed and felt my dog wasnt cared for properly because she was aggressively barking because she was shut in a room so long. i allowed a... read more

They will let your pet die if you don’t have enough money to pay the outrageous bill. Horrible heartless people

While they were kind and efficient, I wouldn’t recommend this facility unless you have no other option. We brought our kitten in because we can’t get into the vet yet. She was vomiting and not eating. They checked her over and recommended expensive blood tests, that likely would have led to more tests or X-rays, possibly even a hospital stay. We were also told that if we didn’t get the test, we would definitely need to get her into a vet the next day. We declined the tests knowing that the cost could have ballooned up into t... read more

I understand it can be busy and some cases may be more sever than others but when they have you in a room for over 2 hours is ridiculous especially when they tell you after doing a test it will be 20 min and don’t show back up for 1-1/2 hrs then going to get antibiotics and disappear again for longer than it should take to dispense it. My dog hates going as it is and then to put her through this was just insane.

Business response:

Hi Jennifer - We are very sorry for the extended wait times. No matter the reason why you had to wait, someone should have communicated or updated you as to what was going on at the moment. We apologize for the lack of communication. I can assure you, our teams are not happy about the extended wait times for our patients either. While I don't know the specifics of your situation, I can tell you often times we have close to 45 hospitalized patients on top of 20+ outpatients at one time, all being cared for by a team of an... read more

I took my kitten for what turned out to be a dislocated foot they diagnosed her wrong and put a splint on which wasn't needed and it was to tight and now her Dr said because of the splint she is going to lose her leg.

$600 later and after 6 hours of waiting we got in and that’s where we start to have the problem 6 hours of my dog unable to pee they couldn’t help him even after waiting that long within 10 mins of saying I’ll have to put him down due to the outrageous price I was in a room with all the help I needed . Fast forward the weekend after I told them to give me my damn dog I’m at another vet and they are looking for the x-rays and blood work they took and they didn’t even keep the files what a joke if you have an emergency I sugge... read more

I think this place means well, but maybe go elsewhere. I was there for over 5 hours with my dog. I get it, they're an emergency room. That being said, below is my story. The first three hours we waited in the lobby. We were then brought into a room and waited roughly 25 minutes. The Vet entered and said it’s likely cancer for my dog. The Vet and I discussed costs and she immediately (5 minutes) came back with forms to sign, the bill was over $2000 estimate for overnight treatment. I was unsure about how I wanted to trea... read more
