The clam chowder was good. Drinks were expansive and not good. Espresso martini had whip cream on top of it. The bourbon and Coke was flat. The burger was dry with no taste. The house pasta tasted like Ragu overall a beautiful place to sit and overlook the water. The food was not good at all making matters worse is that it was way over priced.
We are locals and have tried dinner here three times now. It’s unfortunate that the food is mediocre at best. There is much better dining experiences to be had elsewhere in the area.
the ambience is really wonder fun - cozy and outdoor tables overlooking the river but the food was terrible- this is my first negative review. the portions where large and the mixed vegetables very good- duck breast had no taste at all and the sauce with the potttoes looked like and tasted like melted mayonnaise. the petrale sole also had a terrible sauce. I would not recommend this place for fine dining but great for drinks
Celebrating my partner’s promotion. We were largely ignored by our server. The appetizer we ordered took an hour to arrive (mushroom gratin) and was watery and unseasoned. My entree lacked flavor, the rice/couscous was bland at best. Hugely disappointed in the overall experience. Everyone around us was served before us, not returning.
We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon at 4 and was surprised to see happy hour on the weekends and served in the main dining room, great! My wife had a nice cocktail and we ordered the mushroom bruschetta, it was okay, a bit bland and on the tiniest baguette I've seen, about the size of a silver dollar. The little salad on the plate was a nice touch. Next we the ordered the Cajun meatloaf sliders. No Cajun spices and meatloaf was mushy. The bun was the best part, neither of us ate these. All in all my wife's cocktail was the... read more
Over the weekend I went with friends to have brunch and enjoyed the food. The following week was my 17th anniversary and I thought my wife would enjoy going here. The service was very good and my wife's meal was nice but my surf and turf was lacking. While the steak was very tender and cooked to my liking, there was no flavor. The reduction sauce was very good but didn't make up for the steak. The lobster tail was huge but it was tuff and dry. Also, the glass of Chardonnay the we had seemed to be watered down, plus we got a ... read more
We had to ask for our wine after each course was served. We finished our soup before we got the glass that went with the soup. Our water glasses were never once refilled and sat empty on the table. We sat down at 6:00, and did not receive our entree until 8:30! When I finally got someone’s attention, as to where our meal was, we were told they had forgotten to bring it! We asked to have the entree and dessert packed up and finally left at 9:00 p.m. This was a splurge for us, not something we would normally do. To include a $... read more
Unexpectedly We were not given a choice to sit inside or outside and so were forced to sit outside where it was freezing. Food only Luke warm. Staff started cleaning up and breaking down tables all around us which was so loud and disruptive we left early, even though the restaurant lwas still open. Very expensive plus an unexpected 25% service fee for our table of 2
As locals, we enjoy going to the Noyo Harbor Inn for lunch and dinner. Today was disappointing solely because the waiter who seated us was unpleasant and provided poor service. His unfriendly demeanor would certainly be a poor example of Fort Bragg hospitality to visitors to our community.
