Very inexperienced waitress but we would have rolled with that but the food was terrible. My husbands duck which was described as crispy was grey and limp and blah. I sent back my scallops which were on a bed of grey mush that someone tried to describe as risotto! Hah! I think it was a gravy powder mix with rice stirred in. So I got the halibut instead which was blah with plain cream poured over it and a wild rice mix that I think was instant cooked in plain water. No seasoning whatsoever. Dined 2 nights. First night food, etc excellent. Saturday night 3 diners dissatisfied with dinners. 4 th person liked entree- hamburger. Did not appreciate dogs on patio- especially one next to our table and barked loudly once at a person or another dog that was nearby.
Ordered the salmon since it was the day special, so did my date. It was the worst, tasteless. Date had same feeling. Caesar was just as bad.
We had a terrible experience here. The service was terrible. It took forever to get our food. They got my kid order wrong. They overcooked they fish. The crab cakes were awful. Very expensive for what you get
Nice place by Noyo river, great location the ambiance is good, my wife and i ordered the prince Edward island mussels to start and they were amazing, i ordered the chicken marsala,portion was very generous and it was delicious, i loved the shitaki mushrooms on it, my wife ordered the bistro house pasta which was a little bland and had to many whole garlics in it, so she didnt finish it, for dessert we shared the blueberry bread pudding we added some vanilla ice cream to it and it was delightful, our server was really nice an... read more
Beautiful setting. Nice for lunch outdoors. Had dinner in the dining room and was very dissatisfied. Sent back one entree of pork loin as it was way over cooked. Local Petrale Sole was as equally bad. Everything was under seasoned as well. Save your money and eat dinner at another restaurant.
It was nothing special. The heater didn’t work and the wind was bad. The menu didn’t have much of a selection.
Beautiful location. Uninspired menu. Husband’s and my food choice only differed in protein. Food was fine but for the price and location very disappointing. Don’t go if you are looking for a unique and and fancy experience.
They sat us on the patio and it was freezing. The most uncomfortable meal I’ve ever had. The food was just ok, I didn’t even finish my duck .
