It’s NYE. We expected the place to be busy and we know many businesses are struggling to get help. We arrived about 10 minutes early for our reservation but they were able to seat us immediately. There were a few empty tables but the restaurant appeared to be fully staffed. We waited patiently for someone to come to our table. After 15 minutes, another table was seated nearby. Within a couple of minutes, they were brought waters and asked for drink orders. Their waiter had walked by us a few times so we stopped him and asked... read more
I had to petrale sole and it was over cooked and everything was over salted it was a horrible meal
We wanted to sit outside on the patio. The patio is covered with a tent and now you can’t see the beautiful view of the harbor, you only see white plastic. The tent didn’t go all the way down to the floor and it was really cold. The neighbor party had a heater right at their table but we only got one towards the end of dinner. Our server switched in the beginning and the second server was short and unfriendly. Didn’t take any time at all with us. The food is very expensive. Crab cakes were tiny and they had vegetables and pi... read more
Terrible service, good food. We were a party of six. We were sat outside on the back patio under the event tent. Half of the table was looking at the wall of an event tent, raised about 18 inches to create airflow because all of the walls were closed. The other half of the table got to watch the kitchen through a window, which was a bit odd at times. There were outside heaters; they made the top half of you warm, while the bottom half was cold due to airflow. Food sizes were a bit small. Both drinks and food took forever and... read more
Food was very subpar considering the prices, service was terrible it was laughable. I hope they’ll to use feedback to improve as we enjoy supporting local businesses.
Nice place, but the cocktails were not very tasty. We ordered two appetizers, one for each of us, but they assumed we both wanted to share and only brought out one at a time. The rack of lamb was undercooked. The lobster was very good, but the filet mignon was tough and also undercooked.
The bar was nice. Our table was not ready. We waited past our reservation. We had no water and silverware. The waitress was VERY busy. My scallops and risotto had ZERO flavor. It was not like the picture. My husbands lamb was good. It was my birthday and they sand to the other guests but not me. The food too FOREVER, they did not offer bread. I was sad to be so disappointed.
Food not cooked correctly. Cold raw hamburger. Unfriendly local patrons who stared incessantly. Nice patio
I will preface with the fact that I realize that The pandemic has created a number of challenges for the service industry. So, to keep things in context, I can’t say if my experience is evidence of the times we are in or if there are deeper problems. Much of the staff seemed stressed and systems seemed disorganized. Some staff, to be fair were quite professional and kind, this seemed to be mostly the bussers. We were told by the hostess that an outdoor seat would be ours in about five minutes only to be told 15 minutes later... read more
