Every aspect of our experience from Lisa coming out to meet us in the parking lot, the lovely tech taking our info, chatting with Dr McKinley and through checkout was comfortable, relaxed, informative and thoroughly enjoyable. Thank you to all at Oakhusrt for making our first visit a fantastic experience!
We appreciate the staff scheduling us for a same day emergency appointment for our dog! We were so worried about him and so grateful he could be seen the next morning by Dr. McKenzie. She has been so terrific in caring about both of our dogs and we will be long time patients because of that! We also love Dr. Tyndall and will always recommend Oakhurst Vet to anyone! If you live in the Tampa st. Pete area and have a pet then please check out Oakhurst Veterinary Hospital. The staff is super nice and the doctors are very knowledgeable and caring. They have contactless curb service during covid 19 and they are prompt and affordable. I would highly recommend Oakhurst Veterinary Hospital

I always have a great visit with Dr. Donovan and the whole Oakhurst staff. This was the first visit w/ the coronavirus protection measures in place (outside pickup etc), and I couldn't be happier w/ the methods you've chosen to undertake to protect your staff and clientele. I'm a Medical Laboratory Technologist, running Coronavirus tests and I know the importance of protective measures. Thank you for all you do and for taking care of our beloved fur-babies!
I wish a 10 star rating was available! When you are a snowbird far from home and your beloved furbaby has an issue it is very frightening. The receptionist scheduled an appointment quickly. Records department promptly contacted our home state vet and obtained records. Dr McKenzie and Debbie were very thorough and attentive taking history and listening to my concerns. All of the staff was accommodating of my dog who is dog aggressive. The office already requested records from my vet in Colorado prior to our visit. I had 3 issues I wanted to address and all of them were covered within the time of our visit.
I know I have built the Cat Section since 1979 here, along with Jane the front desk clerk. I have been here since then, Dr. Tollon at the time was my dr for my kitties. I have had 18 cats since 1980. now we are down to two... for now and 2 doggies.. but i have to tell you the love for these doctors here, Dr. Bonasera, Dr. Mackenzi, Dr. Ashkew and the other doctors here there are so many I know i left you out but im am sorry.. maybe its me getting demenia not my cats.. hahha... Today I took my dog for an appointment and we did not have to wait. The receptionist was very aknowledgeable on the specific paperwork we required. The technician was very cheerful, which was helpful to relax my pet, and very thorough as to the questions asked before the doctor's examination. She seemed to really enjoy taking care of my animal.
