All of the people I have dealt with for several at Oakhurst Veterinary Hospital are friendly, caring & knowledgeable by email, phone, & in office. Our vet is Dr Autumn McKenzie. I greatly appreciate being able to be in the same room with Honey for procedures & the post visit call to go over all test results. I appreciate having someone perform the blood check that does a smooth, easy draw of blood.

Hands down the best vet experience for our cat and dog. ALL of the staff was friendly and professional and our pets were very relaxed. It's clear they have your pet's best health as their focus.

The Vet Tech Assistant (a new girl I'd not met before) went the extra mile & walked me out to the car so I didn't have to try to hold the cat transport box and navigate the door at the same time. HUGE help. Thanks!! And Dr. McKenzie is just a lovely, knowledgable professional to work with!

Awesome clinic. Saved my dog's life. Midway vet couldn't get my very sick dog in for 2 day's. Oakhurst clinic took him in right away. I took my dog to midway for 8 yrs. I will not be returning. I would give Oakhurst 10 stars if I could. From the desk thru the whole clinic the staff was awesome. Doctor took a half hour to explain everything I needed to do to take cake of my dog once I took him home. He was there for the whole day. He needed labs iv and many other meds. Oakhurst Animal Hospital is the ONLY place to trust across the entire Tampa Bay area with your pets care. I'm 50 now, and sadly had to learn that the hard way using other Vets occasionally over the years. What a mistake! Do yourself and your pets a life long favor; don't go anywhere else. We love Oakhurst Veterinary Hospital. It's become our go to place for Buster while we visit this area! We've been taking Buster there for many years now and will continue to do that whenever we're down here.

One of the best veterinary experiences I've ever had! I took my elderly pup to this vet after I noticed he was limping... As usual these things always happen when I'm moving. Not only were they able to get my sweet old man pup in to see the vet the very next morning, but they happily tracked down his records from his previous vet (and when that bet didn't send them in time, they were calling again when I walked in the door). Everyone (I mean literally EVERY person on staff) was incredibly warm, caring, and invested. I do understand when veterinary staff is tired, a little frustrated, or even overwhelmed quite often. I mean...dealing with freaked out pet parents and their little ones has got to feel taxing at times. But I can honestly say, if anyone at Oakhurst is ever feeling any of those things, I've never even seen a hint of it. You guys are doing a wonderful job and our whole family is grateful!
