I have been taking my pets to the Oakhurst Vet for the past 15 years. I highly recommend Dr Ayscue and all the staff there for their consistent consideration and care.
Dr. Buonasera and the team at Oakhurst Vet are excellent at what they do. If your looking for a competent, professional establishment for your pets health needs this is the place for you.
All staff and Dr. Ascue could not be more considerate, helpful and generally amazing all around. From front desk to examination room to check out were a true pleasure; treatments and explanations were on-point and complete. Having used Oakhurst exclusively for over 15 years makes us feel like family. Thanks guys for another top notch trip for our girls, Amy and Muffin.
I had a bad experience with a previous vet. So I was reluctant to take my dog to the vet, but it was an emergency and I chose to go to Oakhurst. BEST decision that I made. The staff is amazing, as well as Dr. Ayscue. We also went with acupuncture and Chinese herbs and Amy MacCallum has been amazing. Luckily he is recovering well, still in care of the vet. I highly recommend them and will continue to share my amazing experience with them.
My dog/puppy is like a child to me. Dr Tindle and her staff love my fur baby as much as I do! This is the first animal I have purchased. I got her as a puppy and they have provided exceptional service. They have provided me with all the tools I need as a first time puppy owner. The Dr's and staff at Oakhurst Veterinary Hospital are the BEST. Having seen many of the doctors, I can tell you they are all good and our favorite, Dr. B is just amazing. She is caring and kind. Her love for her patient is so noticed and the bond begins. Mocha has had the best care available through this hospital. Thank you Dr. B and staff!!
Stay Away from this horrible vet clinic. Debbie is the worst person I've ever come in contact with in my entire life in dealing with vet clinics. Extremely rude. Unhelpful and directly goes against what the patients need. They only care about making money and they do not care about your pet. Debbie is running Dr Mackenzie's practice into the ground and is ruining its reputation. I would stay away from this vet clinic at all costs and I will be making sure to tell everyone I know how horrible this place is.

I brought my pug there after moving to the area. I'm not a fan of them taking my dog for long periods of time out of my sight. Upon return my pug was mortified - he would not leave my side for the rest of the time there or the day. Upon returning home he was limping - I noticed that they cracked one of his nails, and didn't fully cut one off leaving him in pain. I went here because my Vet wasn't available. I would not recommend this vet because they recommended services and procedures that were not necessary. And what was done didn't fix the issue with my fur baby. I know that because my regular Vet fixed the problem. It's expensive enough to go to the vets, but even worse when it is a waste of your time and money!
