I have come across these individuals thinking that they were very professional. Wanted to ask somebody a question. And it seems like the color of my skin has repelled them and repulse them. This is a horrible practice. I would say they nickel and dime you endlessly but it is more like hundreds and hundreds of dollars for services NOT requested and NOT required. Although I was warned, I tried them anyway and after a few visits I realize the validity of the warnings. If you consider $300 for an ear infection acceptable then this is your place. I wish I can give it a zero but yelp doesn't allow it. We waited a month to get an appointment for our beautiful rescue dog. When my husband got here for the appointment, he was told it was canceled because the groomer had a headache. We rescheduled the Appointment. To our surprise, we got charged $75.plus tax for the groom. PLUS, they charged us $32. To extract her anal glands, which every where I have been that is included. The took my beautiful Havanese puppy and desecrated her. Changed groomers, but never told me and this guy really botched her. I cry every time I look at her. And it is OAKHURST VETERINARY CENTER'S fault. They lose very difficult to replace dental orthotics THEIR VET ORDERED HER TO USE. (So therefore the did NOTHING prescribed by their own vet. This place is terrible. Will take your money and give you false hope by telling you your pet is okay just send him home to die. He died not three days later. They knew he was probably terminal but took our money anyway. Real pos vets. Response to Brynn: No I have the right place. You have no record of me because I wasn't the one that took my dog there. Very unhappy. We have be going to vet for over 15 years and board our border collie all the time. This morning called my dog keeps checking and coughing. They said too busy to see.. doctors over worked. Then hire another, poor service And appear to only care about money. I have always recommended but won't in future and looking for another vet.

Today I inquired about daycare service pricing and bringing my two dogs in to get use to the facility before being left alone. I had previously taken my other dog in for veterinary care and was happy that they offered grooming, boarding, and daycare all at one location. I was informed that the owner has a breed restriction policy and that my dog wouldn't be eligible for daycare services based on his appearance.
