From the moment my husband and I (and Finn) sat down In the waiting room until the moment we left, we felt so embraced by the professional and caring staff. We were even more impressed with the kindness of Debbie who asked all the pertinent questions to help her get to know our beautiful rescue pup Finn. She also answered lots of questions for us. These folks are like family. Very attentive, and obvious animal lovers. I can't say enough about how well and sensitively we were treated when we said goodbye to our 13 year-old golden retriever last spring. They made an extraordinarily difficult morning much easier for us and for our beloved "Manny." You cannot find a better team of professionals than Oakhurst. If I could award six stars, I would. We continue to see them for our cat, and I recommend them to anyone who wants the best for their pets.

Oakhurst Veterinary hospital and grooming is excellent. They care about each pet as an individual family member, not just another animal. They are kind, caring and gentle. My animals come home calm and well groomed, not traumatized.

I went here because my previous vet retired and transferred my dogs records here. I have two dogs, one is totally chill and the other a high maintenance drama queen. In 7 years of going to various vets around the country, I have never seen my dog let any vet touch him without the most ear shattering shrieks, yells and hysteria. Yesterday I took my dog to see Dr Donovan. After being my dog was reassured by the vet technician Debbie, Dr Donovan was able to examine my dog and he never so much as made a peep. I love this vet! All of the doctors are amazing. I have seen them all, for a variety of reasons. They are very welcoming. Everyone there treats your pet like it is their own. I had to take one of my dogs there today for an issue. Dr McKenzie got down on her hands and knees to examine him while he was laid out on the floor with the vet tech rubbing his belly the entire time. That type of treatment happens every time. I have been taking my pets to the Oakhurst Vet for the past 15 years. I highly recommend Dr Ayscue and all the staff there for their consistent consideration and care.

I had a bad experience with a previous vet. So I was reluctant to take my dog to the vet, but it was an emergency and I chose to go to Oakhurst. BEST decision that I made. The staff is amazing, as well as Dr. Ayscue. We also went with acupuncture and Chinese herbs and Amy MacCallum has been amazing. Luckily he is recovering well, still in care of the vet. I highly recommend them and will continue to share my amazing experience with them.
