Oakhurst Veterinary hospital and grooming is excellent. They care about each pet as an individual family member, not just another animal. They are kind, caring and gentle. My animals come home calm and well groomed, not traumatized.

I went here because my previous vet retired and transferred my dogs records here. I have two dogs, one is totally chill and the other a high maintenance drama queen. In 7 years of going to various vets around the country, I have never seen my dog let any vet touch him without the most ear shattering shrieks, yells and hysteria. I love this vet! All of the doctors are amazing. I have seen them all, for a variety of reasons. They are very welcoming. Everyone there treats your pet like it is their own. I had to take one of my dogs there today for an issue. Dr McKenzie got down on her hands and knees to examine him while he was laid out on the floor with the vet tech rubbing his belly the entire time. That type of treatment happens every time. The Entire Staff at Oakhurst Veterinary Hospital are So Pleasant And very compassionate ! We would not take our 3 Yorkies anywhere else !!!!!

Dr. Buonasera and the team at Oakhurst Vet are excellent at what they do. If your looking for a competent, professional establishment for your pets health needs this is the place for you.

I had a bad experience with a previous vet. So I was reluctant to take my dog to the vet, but it was an emergency and I chose to go to Oakhurst. BEST decision that I made. The staff is amazing, as well as Dr. Ayscue. We also went with acupuncture and Chinese herbs and Amy MacCallum has been amazing. Luckily he is recovering well, still in care of the vet. I highly recommend them and will continue to share my amazing experience with them.

My dog/puppy is like a child to me. Dr Tindle and her staff love my fur baby as much as I do! This is the first animal I have purchased. I got her as a puppy and they have provided exceptional service. They have provided me with all the tools I need as a first time puppy owner. Sally is created with open arms and the staff treat her like a celebrity! I received a phone call from Dr Tindle after her wellness exam and grooming. The Dr's and staff at Oakhurst Veterinary Hospital are the BEST. Having seen many of the doctors, I can tell you they are all good and our favorite, Dr. B is just amazing. She is caring and kind. Her love for her patient is so noticed and the bond begins. Mocha has had the best care available through this hospital. Thank you Dr. B and staff!!

This place cares about 1 thing! YOUR MONEY! NOT Your Pet. When i first switched to going there bc last vet along the beach was too expensive, they tried to sell me $900 shots for my dog w/o knowing what the issue was...(labs not done yet). AND while I'm traveling, i try to buy some Flea/Tick/Heartworm monthly pill online and these suckers won't send a script w/o an EXAM!!!???
