They were really impressive to work with. Once I approved the estimate, I was given a three-week time frame for work, but they found an opening and completed the work 2 DAYS LATER. They were very responsive over the phone as this paranoid homeowner called with several questions. Everything was excellent. They arrived on time, did good work, and cleaned up after themselves. They also took it upon themselves to make some additional repairs at no extra cost. Furthermore, the roof is still in good shape

We found out they didn't have a work permit posted. The foreman had to go and get a permit which was a bad start. They were professional and they worked hard, the only issue we have is a piece of white siding, maybe 18 inches long, missing from the side of the home. We didn't noticed it until a month later or so and they said it wasn't their responsibility.
Initially we had a consultation appointment to discuss what needed to be done. This appointment was with 2 great guys from O'Lyn (forgive me I forgot your names!). They looked at the roof where the skylights were and examined both areas very thoroughly. Also discussed possible cause of staining of our kitchen ceiling, and after some great detective work (going up to the attic, checking other bedrooms, etc), figured out it was most likely the skylights and some roofing in that area that wasn't done properly. We actually called O'Lyn because they replaced our roof in 1990 (23 years ago) and it held up pretty well until we had a whole house fan installed (by a different contractor) that caused a leak in the roof. The O'Lyn estimate this time was very reasonably priced compared to other companies. O'Lyn also has good phone reachability. The one difficulty is that they are quite busy, and they will tell you up front that it can take a month or longer from the time you sign a contract to when they will be able to do the work. <p>We received an estimate from O'Lyn Roofing when we developedleaks in a couple of areas upstairs inour home. We had a very old roof and we called O'Lyn first because they had replaced our gutters two years before and we were very pleased with their work. Michael Olen came to our home and advised us to replace the roof.
