we called O'lyn Roofing and a representative came to our home on 8/17/13. He was very nice and explained everything to us. We were very impressed with him and the product. He said someone would be calling within two weeks. A few days later, someone called and said they would be getting a crew together and could do the job on 8/24/13. The workers completed the job in a day and were careful and responsive. <br /> A member of the company returned after the job was complete to check the property and to make sure we were satisfied, and we were. <br /> I would definitely recommend O'lyn to friends/neighbors. <br />
I must say that throughout the entire process from the initial estimate to installation, the team at O'Lyn were great to do business. The installation team was efficient and worked so neatly, that the next day you would not even know a roofing company had been there.
Job went very well. Office staff set up appointment for estimator to look at the job. The estimator showed up on time explained in detail what needed to be done and answered all questions. <br /> The work crew showed up on time, did the job and cleaned up after work was complete. <br /> All phone calls were answered, everyone I talked to was courteous and professional. <br />
Within in two days of placing a call to O'Lyn a sales rep was at my house.He wasvery professional and knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of my questions. He brought lots of samples of various products and hand a ton of handouts for my wife and I to look over. After the measurements were taken (roof 26 square, gutters about 200 feet) he handed us a quote, $19,000. O'Lyn ended up being the highest estimate we received.With said it was back to Angies List to find another contractor. <br /> <br />
There was a small leak where the plumber installed a new vent. The vent wasn't sealed because the roof was going to be replaced. I called Kevin from O'LYN and and he came by with in 2 hours to seal the vent and promised to come back if it didn't correct the problem. The leak was fixed. <br />
It took about 2 weeks to get my first appointment for an estimate. Then we had a snow storm and so they rescheduled it, adding that Michael would want to go up on the roof. It took about another 2 weeks to get another appointment. Please note, the office staff were fantastic. They were professional, patient, and did their best to work with my requests when scheduling my estimate appointment. It went great. O'Lyn's people came when they said they would, and finished AHEAD of schedule. (!) The workers were unfailingly polite and friendly. They worked all day Saturday to complete the job, then spent hours cleaning up after they were done. They said the debris would all be hauled away on Monday morning and - voila! - on Monday morning the dumpster and all the debris were gone. The entire experience was great. They were able to schedule and appointment for the estimate right away. The estimate was very thorough and provided a lot of insight into the process for the work that was done. the problem with the roof and gutters was identified clearly, and the costs of all of the work was itemized (including options to consider).
