Do not make scheduled appts with Orkin they will be 2hrs late. When they do come out they don't do much at all because ants are still coming into my house!

Everyone I have spoken with at Orkin has been very nice and helpful and I really like our service technician, but, we have had an ongoing ant issue in our townhouse for several weeks. I called Orkin twice to come out and spray. I was expecting a better "investigation" on where the ants were coming from. The guy just came in, sprayed around the baseboards and out front then left. DO NOT COME HERE!!!! A technician came out named Pram and told me I had bed bugs. I had covers on my box spring and mattress and he didn't even take them off to inspect it. I even collected a bag of the bugs which he took and said they were bed bugs. He pushed a heat treatment on me for 3K and I nervously scheduled it. SCAM! I had another company come out who verified I don't have bed bugs at all. I cancelled the appointment and am so happy I didn't get ripped off by Orkin. Thanks for nothing.

What an asshole company. We called in yesterday for an appointment and they told us that they would be here between 4 PM and 7 PM. They told us to clear out all cabinets, which we did, and to clear out the bathrooms which we also did. We waited. We called them several times in between the waiting period. At 6 PM (when we called) the operator told us they could not locate our technician and didn't know what was going on. She also told us that the technician had till 7 PM to show up and to continue to wait. I took time off... read more

I am currently an Orkin member, but I can't wait until my contract expires so I can go with another company. I called to schedule an appointment for Orkin to come and spray for ants. The appointment was between 8-11am so I took the day off work. One o'clock comes around and nobody show up or calls. I called them four times asking for status and every time they said the tech will call you back ASAP. The last time I called in asking for a manager to call me back. I had scheduled an appointment- easy enough. I called to cancel two days before- easy enough. 15 minutes after the scheduled appointment the inspector called to tell me that he was running late. I informed him that I had cancelled two days before. Just now I get a call wanting to follow up on the inspection. WHAT! The inspection never happened. I asked for my phone number to be removed from their database completely. I am really wondering what is going on with this company.
