Our mother has been living at Forest Trace for a few years now and the Director at the time made us believe that we never had to worry about anything and his door was always opened if we ever needed anything. That was absolutely not true. Fast forward to a few months ago when the community received the miracle it so desperately needed, a new leader, the new director. I toured this facility along with five others in [date removed]. The one and two bedroom apartments are spacious compared to the other facilities. The master bedroom accesses a screened in balcony. The balcony is also accessible through a patio door from the living room. Independent living and assisted living is one of two buildings on the 70 acres. What we like the most about the community are the room sizes and the layout. We also like the staff and the grounds. We would absolutely recommend Forest Trace Senior Living to other families based on the experience so far.

Please be mindful if the facility is furnishing the common area of a two bedroom, it will not even closely resemble the model. The facility overall is very clean and very nice.

Dining, maintenance, and nursing staff are very helpful. The different amenities and entertainment options for residents are great. Dining course selections are loved by my dad. Unfortunately, communication between management and residents and guardians like myself is not as good. This could impact the care that a resident receives. Also I highly recommend family caregivers to be highly involved with the facility to ensure their loved ones are receiving the care they need. Has been a good experience. We have hired an additional aid to help during the day so that she does not get overlooked. Overall it has been good! We would recommend, very nice facility!

The support staff (CNA's, etc.) really keep an eye on the residents to ensure their safety. The property is kept in good condition. I would most definitely recommend them! ! I found them through A Place for Mom and couldn't be happier.
