I feel there could be more outings offered, but overall the staff is amazing. The community is made up of separate cottages, which helps it feel more like a neighborhood than a nursing home. They also do great family events, which we really appreciate. My dad really likes it there!

The tour was very helpful in making this decision. The staff seem to really care and still be professional. I like the smaller setting of dining together, so it’s not overwhelming. It was quiet, peaceful. The residents I passed by all seem very content. No yucky smells, everything was clean. Food smelled good. The courtyard very pleasant. The staff seem very personal and down to earth.

I really like how this community is set up. I appreciate the different cottages, with their different levels of care. It is a gorgeous location and all staff seems friendly and attentive.

Great environment. Residents look well kept and happy. The facility is clean and well put together. There are lots of activities for the residents. Overall, the cottages look like a great place.

I think care and staff are super important. Riverside wasn't the newest place around, but the staff (office and nursing) provided great care and did all they could during a difficult time. And, there were very stable. Many places I visited had high turnover in office staff and management. Riverside did not.

The living unit have a cozy, homey feel and are designed for maximum staff resident interaction. Staff are patient and attentive and encourage residents to participate in group activities. The daily schedule is designed to keep residents engaged.

This facility seemed more like a family. In one cottage, the residents were dancing to 70s music in their main room when we came through. There was laughing and participation. The other cottage was less upbeat, but there was still a warm, welcoming feeling in the main room. The individual rooms are all private with their own bathroom. The price seems in range with the other ones we have visited. They seem interested in the likes and interests of the residents and offer enriching activities throughout the day. They are the best. The cottage my sister is in is roomy, bright atmosphere, all staff have been so kind, respectful and helpful. I finally feel that I can relax and enjoy visiting her

The staff is amazing and very knowledgeable. They provide all the services needed. I would recommend the cottages to others. They provided the furniture for the bedroom. They would do the evaluation of my mom by Zoom. I didn't have to take her to the facility and then transport her back home after the evaluation. With the doctor/ dentist services offered by them, I didn't need to transport my mom to appointments. They have small cottages where 14 dementia patients live, rather then one large building for everyone. They are t... read more
