The staff is outstanding and the caregivers do all they can to make your loved one happy and comfortable
Every staff member we have come across has been hospitable, nice, caring and attentive to my family and patient needs. My parent has been well taken care of during the challenges that he faces. The clean and warm environment was a big factor in chosing Pacifica. The staff cares about their patients and that is comforting to the family when this can be a difficult an emotional transition. My rating of 4 stars has to do with the communication piece with outside agencies such as Hospice. This process could use some improvement.... read more
The floor plan of each pod. The separation of neighborhoods, And the feeling of safe.
Very warm from the first day. They really helped me find solutions from testing my mom to getting her to the facility. They had many events that we could participate with my mom in. They really cared for her, nice, clean, doesn't stink, activities, and good food. It seemed like a home environment.
The staff at Pacifica are caring. The residents are placed in cottages. The resident to staff ratio offers a lot of individual attention. There are nurses on site who know each resident and their personal needs. Each room is furnished. You don't need to move in furniture! Pacifica provides you the option to sign up with one of their doctors. You don't need to order prescriptions or take your resident to doctor visits! It's the perfect fit!
Toward the end of my mom's life while at Pacifica, my family's experience went somewhat downhill. A lack of clear communication and transparency were the contributing factors. The staff assigned to my mom's cottage were kind and hard working. It was with the administration that my family had a few issues. The facility is set up well and the floor plan thoughtful. Wow, what another fantastic event (a Laua) for the residents and family on [date removed] I was initially disappointed because I didn’t see the pig in the ground (or only in Hawaii) but what was even better; was the pig was deliciously prepared and was on our plates along with chicken and everything else imaginable for a great party. People here were friendly. Everybody had a good time. They got to do the hula dancing with everybody. It was really really a good time for everybody. They really make everyone feel very welcome and like family.
Very clean facility. Staff seem to really care about the residents and take individual needs into consideration. Staff is kind to the family. Security is excellent. The environment is welcoming. The only negative is communication with each individual cottage residents are in. They are great with after hours communication. I highly recommend Pacifica Riverside. They were also extremely kind to us when my dad passed away.
