My 2 year old son had hives from an allergic reaction and we went in for the aftercare services at around 7 pm. After a 2 hour process of wait and consultation with a very pompous Dr. Gonzalez, she prescribed medicines to a CVS pharmacy which had already closed. We attempted to get the prescriptions at a 24 hour CVS and they said the computer system would not allow it. So we quickly drove back to the office to get a new prescription. Always over book appointments. Wait time is a minimum of 2 hours. Not to mention same day appointments are never available which is usually when you need to have your kids seen when they are sick. After waiting 2 hrs in the waiting room the bring you into another room which then you wait another 30 minutes or more to see the doctor. You would figure they would have some consideration with children. Especially the ones that are already sick and not feeling well.

If you don't speak Spanish . DO NOT COME. You will most likely be treated like an outsider . For my first appointment, I was kept waiting for 50 MINUTES. Staff is rude and smile only at their Cuban friends .

The doctors here are all wonderful,very knowledgeable and caring. I have never had an issue with with any of them with my two kids. However, when it comes to the staff they fall way short. Although, they are friendly they just are not too professional. After the doctor came to see my son really quickly the nurses took way too long for the shots. Efficiency is an area that would need improvement.

Awful experiences at Pediatrics Associates Doral. Since i live in Doral my two daughters attend this place with Dra Fierro (wonderful doctor) but i can not understand why the staff are the worst in town. This is the second time that they gave to my wife a wrong referral for an specialist. We waited almost two months for this appointment and just came to the specialist and they told again the document was wrong. This place is a HUGE DISASTER. The only time I was ever treated and seen on time was when my son was during the prenatal visit and visit from the birthdate up until he turned 2 months old. The moment my son hit 2 months he became another number in the waitlist for them. Every time I had an appointment, arrived on time and selected to see the "first doctor available", I ended up being the last patient to be called in. In other words expect over an hour wait. The place is always overbooked which causes long frustrating waiting times (at least an hour with appointment to get in room then another 30 minutes to be seen by Dr. We saw 3 different doctors so far (2 females and 1 male who are very competent and qualified ) but they always seem overwhelmed and in a hurry it seems to me that corporate forces front desk to overschedule patients which affects customer care and quality if care. I chose Pediatric Associates when my child was born and I can say it was a pleasant experience until recently. Last time I went to their office with an appointment I had to wait over an hour past the appointment time. When I asked the front desk girl she was very nasty and I decided to leave and re-scheduled because I was working that day. This place is a mess Nobody knows what they are doing, I had a bunch of problems with the way they work 1. Doctors never return your call,only if you harass calling, its a medical assistant that are very limited because she is not a doctor! 2.
