Everyone involved were on the same page which made the process run smoothly
The loan was made for more than the payoff amount was, and some funds were disbursed to us. This was not part of the agreement. We had said we wanted to pay cash for the closing costs, in an effort to keep the amount of loan the same as the one we were paying off. The person who came to our home was not a rep from PennyMac, but a notary, so we couldn't change things unless we would cancel the appt. And we just wanted to close and be done with it.
It was easy.
I was very happy with my experience. Jasmine was an outstanding customer service rep and exceeded my expectations. However, there were errors on my loan documents. Also, the original costs for the Iona I was give were raised unexpectedly before closing.

The process was fast and smooth. I was kept informed all along the way and my questions were answered very quickly and concisely.
Pennymac has always provided exceptional service. Ms. Johnson maintained that standard.
