Everything was explained properly and all communication was great. Uploading documents seemed to be the only small glitch, where documents were uploaded, and I could see the docs, but they were requested again. Other than that, everything was seamless, clear and quick!
There was very little communication on PennyMac’s end. When I would call to ask questions I would get different answers depending on who I spoke to. My closing numbers where hundreds of dollars different than what the original loan processor told me. Too many people working on one file. I am a realtor so I was familiar with the process. Great response and communication and quickly closing
The timely response in communication made this experience easy. I recommend PennyMac to anyone seeking a mortgage company!
The loan was made for more than the payoff amount was, and some funds were disbursed to us. This was not part of the agreement. We had said we wanted to pay cash for the closing costs, in an effort to keep the amount of loan the same as the one we were paying off. The person who came to our home was not a rep from PennyMac, but a notary, so we couldn't change things unless we would cancel the appt. And we just wanted to close and be done with it.
Better understanding or communication about a document that was needed
It was easy.
I was very happy with my experience. Jasmine was an outstanding customer service rep and exceeded my expectations. However, there were errors on my loan documents. Also, the original costs for the Iona I was give were raised unexpectedly before closing.
Everything was well managed and really good communication
