They are ON IT when it comes to communicating with me. They call or email weekly, and let me know what's happening at every step. I highly recommend PennyMac for a refi or new home loan.

Everything went pretty smooth but it seem like I talk to a number of different people and someone asked me the value of my house and I said I didn’t really know that I only know what I’m paying for it and then they gave me a number higher than I expected. Then when it came down to the closing I asked about it and he said he don’t know where they got that number from because you have to pay to have the house appraised. The entire experience was handled professionally and within the timeline set out for us. We also appreciated getting a call once a week to address any concerns we may have had.
There really wasn’t much communication from my MAC team. I was left in the dark on how the closing was to take place. I feel like my loan officers didn’t reach out to walk me through the process.
