We had our two dogs stay here for 4 days while we were out of town for the weekend. Over the course of the weekend, we called a total of 50 times and never managed to speak to a single person. We called every number available, even other locations and asked to be transferred and every time we went to voicemail. When we told this to the receptionist, she told us we should have emailed. My two small dogs stayed at Pet Paradise last weekend 2/17/23-2/19/23. While staying there, one of my dogs got an infected eye. The white part of his eyeball was bloodshot red, had dried green discharge on the inside corner of his face, and he struggled to keep his eye open. When they gave him back to me, he was shaking and painting as if in pain when we got to the car. I took him back into the facility as I had not left the parking lot yet. I am extremely disappointed that no one has tried to reach out to check the status of my pups. Your facility has really lost that loving, caring and Personable touch!

I've boarded my dog here often due to traveling for the military and I thought everything had been okay during that time. Apparently not. I moved to a different state and when I went to board her at the new place, I was told it would be an extra $600 because she had to be kept separate. This took me completely by surprise. She's a sweet playful pup who loves to play with other dogs. I was never told that she had any issues. The few report cards that I did get stated that she was playful and had fun. If you love your pet, you will avoid this place at all costs. Our pet, Cody, has visited Pet Paradise several times before his last two horrific visits -- and seemed to have responded OK with his sporadic visits from 2018 until recent. But be warned, he has returned home sick TWICE from his last two consecutive stays. Once with HGE (hemorrhagic gastroenteritis), a very serious illness caused by bad bacteria in the intestines, and he was close to death over three excruciating days! Absolute worst experience. They even had the audacity to send me pictures of where my dog was left to sit in feces urine and vomit for 11 hours. There is so much more that happened including them calling me about a veterinary emergency for my dog and once they sent pictures I found out they had the wrong dog with my dogs medical card. This is not safe and can be very dangerous. They are rude unclean and unorganized!

Warningg Our FULLY VACCINATED pup spend 3 days at Pet "Paradise" Charlotte location and after everything I feel Like I just sent her to jail rather than "paradise." I When we picked her up we were told she had an amazing time, that she made friends with other dogs and got all her extra play times by a male and women staff member. I would not recommend boarding your dog here. I was extremely hesitant to board our puppy here to begin with after reading some negative reviews and now wish I had listened to my gut. Our 4 month old puppy was only boarded here 3 days, and caught kennel cough despite being fully vaccinated for Bordetella. When we came to pick her up, they literally brought her out coughing & wheezing. The staff seems spread thin and disorganized. Can't speak to the service. I tried to schedule a grooming appointment 4 days out online and it was stuck on pending the entire time. Tried to call 5 times at various hours and no one ever picked up so I had to cancel since I'm not driving all the way there for a maybe. I'm sure the service is great but the responsiveness is horrible.
