We left our senior fur baby, Romeo, in the care of Pet Paradise for one week. After 5 days we received a call that he was lethargic and they wanted to take him to a local emergency vet. We approved and headed home waiting on the call from the vet. The vet said Romeo was severely dehydrated, using the words "shriveled like a raisin", to describe him. When we picked him up from the vet, he was on a stretcher and suffering from kidney and liver failure, completely unable to life his head, let alone walk. We took him to our pers... read more

As pet parents ourselves, we know it is devastating to lose a pet. While in our care, Romeo’s underlying health conditions progressively worsened and we transported Romeo to an emergency veterinarian and contacted the owners. Our team has been in contact with the family. We recognize opportunities for improvement in communication and have spoken with our team to improve those processes.

NOT SAFE!!! Extremely disappointed with this facility. I boarded my German Shepherd here for 3 nights and paid for extra play for him. Upon picking him up and bringing him home, I noticed a spot on his neck that was extremely matted and full of green gunk. His skin was oozing puss and bleeding. I then reached out to the after hours chat online to advise them of what was going on and they assured me that a Manager would call me back first thing in the morning. Please be advised when boarding your dog. My husband and I contacted this location to inquire about boarding our dog during an upcoming trip. We were excited to see that they offer a discount for flight crew members but were told that our baby would ONLY get two 30 mins "breaks" during the day. We would have to pay extra money on top of the daily boarding rate if we wanted him to have more time outside. This would be torture! My Great Dane was here for 3 nights 4-14-19 to 4-17-19 and has wounds all over his body. Will never be taking him there again.

WHAT A MESS! Not only did they separate my dog from playing with other dogs without telling me in advance, they mix up his bowls with other dogs and returned the wrong bowls and did not return his labeled food or treats left for him. Had to pick him up in a rush as I refused to leave him another nite in such an unorganized place like that! Chris Colson, it's been almost two weeks and Rebecca, the asst. manager hasn't even bother to call me back after she said she'd look into it. Some operation you got going over there!

I boarded my two Yorkshires for three days but after I got them home little thing's rear was red and raw. When I spoke to Blake Barnett assistant he says she was 100 percent fine when when left. I took her there for him to see her. I wish he could stop talking because the Assistant manager Kayleigh listened and wanted to take Tiny's to the person that cleaned her. What a horrible experience! I paid extra for my two dogs to stay in the executive suite which also was supposed to buy them 3 extra 20 minute play times in addition to the times they're supposed to let out. every time I've looked at the dogs they were in the room panting or crying. When I called and checked on them they said oh they're going out now and I timed it and they were out for four minutes. I was so upset by my experience here that it has taken awhile to revisit it and write this review. I brought my two cats here to board for just under a week because our usual place was booked for the holidays and the pet sitter wasn't available. First impressions, the cat boarding area was very dingy, but the people who greeted me seemed nice and did a good job answering all of my questions. Should be called Pet Boredom. If you want to pay $30/day for your dog to sit in a room by herself all day, then this is the place for you! I have tried to give Pet "Paradise" several chances - by using their Airport location, as well as Matthews - and I have voiced my concern several times that I don't feel my dog is getting enough playtime at daycare, and it never changes. I was told they give the dogs 30 minutes of playtime and then a 1 hour break, and so on, throughout the day. That's absurd. My dog NEVER comes home tired... read more
