Had reservations for our two dogs since early June for three summer visits at Fort Myers location. Had used them before. First one in early July was perfect. We then were heading on another trip 2nd weekend of August, leaving on a Friday. Got the regular email saying they were happy our dogs were coming back, etc. on Tuesday. My 6 year old female dog came home 3 pounds less, conjunctivitis and a UTI[for the 1st time]. She was so sick and I went to our vet 3 times to get her well. Costly stay and no real help from managers who reported how wonderful she was doing. Also she came home with a reverse cough. Still waiting to hear from manager who said she'd get back to me. Our other stays were uneventful and I had positive reviews. Disappointed and never again.

We have been going here since we got our dog 3 yrs ago. We never had 1 complaints. However, starting back at the end of last year to today, service quality has gone down, prices have jumped several times, and we feel penalized for having an ununeutered dog. Our last experience was the last straw. We were told day of our check in while we're heading out of country, that he was a "do not accept" dog due to several aggressive charges to staff and 1 "attack" that left a staff member to go to the hospital for injuries. I loved this place at first when we came for her first visit "meet the family" she enjoyed her day visit there, came home nice and tired which is always a plus. I couldn't wait to get her back into day camp for her to have fun. She went to day camp today and was supposed to be there from 6:30am-6:00pm. Booked a week stay for my dog and had to cancel due to an emergency and it was only 2 days in between booking and canceling They took 100 dollar deposit from me when I made the reservation and never once said it was not refundable I signed their contract and also no where does it say non refundable (message me I can show anyone that wants to see it) and they refused to refund the deposit They are shady and not only that when you call you get left on hold forever so if you want to check on your pet you can't get threw All... read more

We only boarded our dog here 2 full nights, 4 days total and what a disaster. Miscommunication throughout the whole process...main one being that they never let us know that he was going to be in a "one-on-one" setting. Website (at the time of booking) noted any dogs intact and over 6 months will be assessed if they can be put with the play group or not. If it weren't for the fact that my two dogs were alive when I picked them up, I would have given them a 0 star review. For the money, it is a complete waste. The camera system worked for maybe 5 minutes at a time, then would disconnect (using wifi and a brand new iphone 13.) The only note that was put in for the dogs prior to us picking them up was feeing at 7/8. First - I have used Pet Paradise Jacksonville for the last 5 years, I guess they really set the bar high... because the service level has always been exceptional. I feel like when I drop my baby girl off , she's with family. BUT PET PARADISE FT MYERS IS A JOKE. I requested a boarding reservation in advance and heard nothing back, spent the next day on 45 mins on hold waiting for someone to pick up the phone. Boarded our dog and he came back with bite marks to his neck and a scratch completely down his leg. Noticed the next day after pick up. It was never reported or brought up when we picked him up. Was the staff not paying attention? Why were we not told? What is going to be done about it? Very disappointed and upset.
