My husband and I went out of town for five days and the pups stayed at pet paradise. We were so excited to see our loves and they basically checked us out like at a grocery store. They had no idea how the dogs were, I asked a question about them and they looked at me like I had a third eye. We have no idea if there was enough food them, maybe not, they look skinny... they didn't even give our food measuring cup back or CBD oil for the old dog. Well my 3rd eye is telling us not to go back.

This was our first time bringing all four of our dogs. The day I was picking them up I got a phone call that one of them needed to be taken to the vet. When I got to the vet there was a really bad gouge in her leg. It required four staples. Even though I signed a consent saying I was responsible for anything that happened, they offered to pay the $300 surgery. However, no one could tell me how this happened. The groomer there never listened to what I wanted done - I picked up my dog after his apt and his face looked untouched compared to the rest of his shaved body. I asked if the groomer could touch it up and he flat out told me NO, next time. So I had to pay for an already overpriced cut and still go home and trim my dog myself. The next time when I arrived for my SCHEDULED apt the ladies at the desk told me I wasn't on the schedule and it was "past the time he'd be grooming anyway". I just picked up my Shihtzu Lily, apparently they weren't expecting us so early. When they brought her out she was soaked in pee and smelled awful. The employee who brought her out asked to bathe her first because in her own words "she smells pretty bad". The other employee said sometimes it happens because they may have played in the pool which sometimes gets urine in it?!? Do not bring your pet to this location in Phoenix off of Happy Valley Road unless you enjoy spending extra cash at your vet to treat them for a variety of ailments and illnesses. We have boarded here on several occasions because of the convenience to our home but never again. Every visit our dogs are returned with some type of GI Illness or respiratory problem...EVERYTIME ... which now increases the cost of our need in boarding our dogs. We just picked our 3 dogs up from their first day at this resort. We are impressed that it is all day daycare. And, the day started out nicely, with friendly staff and a clean facility. BUT, it was different at the end of the day. The small dog area was covered in urine and feces. The attendant seemed sullen, tired, and disengaged from the pets. This is the first time I have reviewed any business online but I feel it's important this experience is shared with other animal lovers. I had a very poor experience here. When I went to pick my dog up in the morning they opened the doors 10 min late. If a company says they open at 7am then the doors should be open at 7am not 10 after.
