When I went on a cruise and left my dog here they called me, saying my dog had got cut on his paw from being in his own room I have no idea why a room that they store a dog in would be able to injure the dog Maybe they need to renovate and make sure that animals can get inside their room

Recently, we decided to try out pet paradise for boarding our two German Shepherds. We had been taking them to Camp Bow Wow downtown (which we are very happy with) but it's so far from our house and pet paradise is right down the road. Unfortunately, it will have been our dogs first & last visit to this facility. Here's why. Do not take your dogs here for boarding! There's no grass at all. Just a block fenced area. I hear the employees yelling HEEYYY! All day at the dogs barking in the outside area. I hear the dogs inside barking all throughout the night.

This is the worst experience that we've had with our dogs. It is the second time that we board our dogs here, the first time they returned our dogs with the paws covered in urine, my goldendoodle had a paw infection and my small dog even had parts of his body covered in urine. Before giving them another chance we called them before and they apologize and told us that that was not going to happen again. Dropped my sweet child off to go on a vacation. A week into his stay we got a call that his FOOT WAS CUT OPEN and it was BLEEDING. Where could he have been that there was something sharp enough to cut open his foot?! They said it was IN HIS ROOM! There was something sharp enough to cut his paw in his room!! Plus, they wouldn't let us back to the room to see where it could have happened because "it's a liability" yeah it's a liability to leave your dog there!! Came in for the trial day because the pictures online looked nice and wanted to try a new dog boarding place in case we went out of town and couldn't find anyone to watch her. Was sort of given a tour but weren't allowed in to see where she was staying which seemed a little suspicious. The individual pen areas looked like little cinderblock jail cells which they spend most of the day in alone with no toys or stimuli unless you bring their toys which would have been nice to know ahead of time. We had used Pet Paradise in the past but the last time we left our dog there for a couple of nights was not great. She came home smelling like pee (I don't know if she walked in it or what) and with a big bump on her lip. We paid extra for emailed updates where they confused her with another dog. We also paid extra for one-on-one play time and they tried to charge us for a morning when we dropped her off in the afternoon. They did not return my puppy's Kong collar. When I showed them picture of her wearing it before we took her there they show me crappy video they have walking her to room, but say no camera in room where they took off her collar and harness...video is far from high definition and they say you can check in on your pet at any time 24/7...yea right. All I have to say in closing, Pet paradise , you owe me $50 collar and apology. If that's the way you treat me I can't imagine how you treat animals there... In response to your BS ... read more

I picked up my dog and she was filthy and wet, it smelled like she rolled in a puddle of diarrhea and pee. On top of that all the dogs drink out of the same water bowl when they play outside, that is soo unsanitary! Also it seems like there is 20 dogs to one attendant, that is a lot of dogs to watch for one person.
