I was a loyal customer of pet paradise for 3 years and never had a problem. But I am saddened to say that I will no longer be taking my dog there. I discovered after watching the webcams from their website all day that the dogs ( the smaller ones especially) are not AT ALL getting the exercise they need nor what you are paying for. I watched the small dog camera all day for 3 days and they never once took the small dogs outside to the small dog yard to play and run around. If I could rate this place zero stars I would. We dropped off our dog at Pet Paradise on December 1 and picked him up December 8. When we got him back he was super skinny, and they told us that he missed us so he didn't eat. We believed it, even tho he has never done that before, because I do know of dogs who do that. When we got home I fed him, and we all went to bed. The next day on our walk he poops and there was raw rice in his poop. RAW RICE! none of our pets needs were met. we specifically left instructions with her items (toys, chew bones, clean personal blankets) and none of those things were given to her. when we got home she gulped water as if she hadn't been given in for some time. she is such a loving and emotional dog, for her to be treated this way is wrong. they will never get the opportunity from us to allow this to happen again.

The rating of one star is based on the facility, which seemed clean on the website and the morning I dropped our two dogs off for a 5 day boarding stay. When I asked about being able to view my pets from the virtual cam, the assistant manager said the cameras were old and may not work with all operating systems. They did send several photos of my pets via email while we were away, so at least they kept us informed of their stay. The information about Brandon is not correct any more. He was the owner and now has been removed from this location to working on some marketing job for the corporate office of Pet Paradise resort As of last Monday, 2/16, the corporate office implimented some changes which were not communicated in any way to their customers. In the past, the dogs had a very large area in doors and outdoors where they could spend their days freely roaming. There was always staff with them. Not a happy customer! We have two dogs who have stayed a couple of times at Pet Paradise in Plano and they seem uncomfortable to stay when we drop them off. They love The Bark but we thought we would try out Pet Paradise because it's closer. Our dogs have not been ready when we come to pick them up and this time they were still wet from their baths that we purchased for them and they smelled so bad. My rating only reflects the grooming services. I brought my 6 lb Yorkie Terrier here and the grooming she received was horrible. Her cut was uneven in several places. I left the groomer with specific request that were not done. I will not be utilizing the grooming services at this location again.

My dogs have come to Pet Paradise for about 8 years and I originally gave 5 stars and would have given more if I could. Since the new management, I have continued to be more and more disappointed. They charge fees for pickup after 12p, they no longer have a groomer onsite so baths do not include a nail trim, they were very reluctant to allow me to leave a therapeutic bed with my 12-yr-old dog, all food has to be put in individual baggies per meal per dog, and nobody is there past 7pm period. I took my four bichons in on 3/13/13, to be bathed and brushed. I had told this place about the awful experience I had already had since moving here. Two hours later, they called and said my dogs were ready. The 2 girls didn't look clean at all. I took them home and bathed them myself. The boys may have been wetted, but they were not bushed out as their hair was curly like a poodle. I would never go back to this place. They charged me $155.00 for the crapiest work I have ever seen.
