We have used Pet Paradise about 10 times in the last 2 years. My partner and I used to travel a lot pre-pandemic and we were happy with their services. A few small misses but our dogs were well taken care of. We boarded them for 7 days in November during our wedding. I hate to say that we are no longer impressed with their services. STAY FAR AWAY UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR DOG TO END UP SEVERELY ILL DAYS LATER!!! Due to unsanitary conditions and poor sanitation at Pet Paradise Winter Garden my dog is now very ill and sick with a severe upper respiratory infection/kennel cough that he picked up at this facility. He has been nowhere except my house and the one day of daycare so there are no questions as to where it came from. I left my 6 month old pup at Pet Paradise in Winter garden from Friday 8/14 to Sunday 8/16. I paid for 2 hours of play time a day.. I kept checking their live webcam screening hourly and my pup was never let out to play. I had to call TWICE for them to let her out at 5pm for only 12 minutes! But it gets worse!! Upon check in, I showed them her vaccine history and I was told she was missing her Bordetella shot (1 of the 3 required shots). 1 BECAUSE THERE'S NO ZERO --- Had my dogs first and last day camp visit to Pet Paradise Winter Garden 7/2020. For starters -- When we dropped him off, I brought his shot records and the receptionist outside at the make shift Covid check in said "these are from 2019" -- duh, they are one year vaccinations and still valid for 2 more months. Giving 2 stars b/c this was my second time trying Pet Paradise - different city and location as well - both resulted in a sick puppy, & pricey vet visits afterwards. This specific location from what I'm told is fairly new. The staff is very sweet and accommodates your pet in the most loving way. I have nothing but nice things to say about the staff in both locations - here and in Jacksonville Fl. I've contemplated about not writing a review but I strongly feel it needs to be given. I have been in contact with upper management and apologies have been giving but it doesn't explain the complete neglect that truly could have killed my pet. My dog has epilepsy and it's severe where she needs a lot of meds twice a day everyday. We brought our puppy for day camp and it seemed great. Brought him back for boarding. Definitely not paradise. Checked on the webcam often. Didn't realize that he would be caged for 20 or more hours. Unless you want to pay another $30 to give them a few extra hours of play. And if he has an accident in his cage it's no big deal. Well it is to us! We watched the morning routine. 1 Star for poor communication and a 3 night minimum that is completely ridiculous in nature. I talked to their office for 15 minutes yesterday to see about boarding my dogs for the thanksgiving holiday while I hosted guests. No mention of a 3 night minimum. I paid a deposit on a room for the dogs only to be told the next day, "oh you need to book an extra night since it's a holiday...". It's not like I'm going out of town.
