1 Star for poor communication and a 3 night minimum that is completely ridiculous in nature. I talked to their office for 15 minutes yesterday to see about boarding my dogs for the thanksgiving holiday while I hosted guests. No mention of a 3 night minimum. I paid a deposit on a room for the dogs only to be told the next day, "oh you need to book an extra night since it's a holiday...". It's not like I'm going out of town. We are very sorry to hear about the way our holiday policy was communicated to you. This is clearly a training opportunity for our team. Your deposit is fully refundable (as long as more than 7 days prior to arrival). Rather than disputing, I would contact the number where you paid and ask to cancel the booking.
Boarded our Labradoodle here from July 10-16th using the indoor/outdoor suite and also included the day camp for an extra $30 per day. While gone they were pretty good about keeping us informed about loose stool (we chalked this up to his first time boarding), and they also notified us of him injuring a paw on Sunday, but said the vet looked and believed he was okay. Took my Labrador to board here this week while on vacation at the Disney parks. When we dropped him off, the facility was new, clean, and staff was helpful and friendly. I called and checked in on gym daily and staff members always provided me a thorough report saying he was having a blast! I highly recommend this to anyone vacationing in the area! UPDATE: a couple weeks after my dogs nightmare experience at pet paradise (more like pet purgatory) I took him to another doggy day camp. The staff reported that at first he was nervous but the second he was allowed around the other dogs he was perfectly fine and did an excellent job playing with them. Further proof that if the staff at pet purgatory had given him a chance he would have done fine. It was his first time ever at a boarding/day camp facility! The facility is gorgeous and seems well appointed for anything your furry friend might need. I could tell my dog had fun as she was totally exhausted when we picked her up. We booked an afternoon day camp appointment. Drop off was a little chaotic and the staff seemed confused about why we were there. When I picked up my dog later, no one could give me any info regarding how the afternoon had gone and what sort of activities my dog had been part of.
