UPDATE ON PREVIOUS REVIEW...IT GETS WORSE! I contacted the business manager as requested. I spoke with Brenda Williams who was very unhappy with Bella's condition in their care and she assured me I would hear back from the corporate office. It has now been ten days and I still have not heard anything. I have sent numerous emails, of which I have copies, and there is no concern for my puppies from Pet Paradise. My angel dog Bella was diagnosed with Lymphoma at age 15 and I took her to the vet at this establishment. At first I thought it was great until the day she told me that Bella was lying flat on her belly and she needed to be euthanized! This is the way my baby lies down all the time to cool her belly. She called me so often while I was working to say she needed to get the drugs to put her down since she is new to the area. Our dogs were diagnosed with kennel cough from out vet after being picked up Friday October 8th when they were coughing almost constantly. We called the facility twice and they didn't seem concerned at all and didn't take any additionally precautions for the pets in their care currently. They said the manager was going to call me back but they never did. I only spoke to a receptionist who basically said there is no one who documented them coughing during their stay. We boarded our two rescue cats at this facility in Winter Garden and it was a major nightmare! We picked them up and my husband noticed that they were calling the cats by the wrong names. Mind you, our cats look nothing alike! This is very important because one cat is a diabetic and needs an insulin shot two times per day and both are on separate diets. Would reconsider sending your pet here, we were excited to join their membership, and have tried a few services at the resort, this is one of the worst experiences I've experienced from the quality and care, to the communications, our dog went in for 7 day trip on day 5 was transferred to the er. This is the most inhumane place for any pets. I made a reservation for my cat. Reservation agent sold me a CABANA, also told me my cat water fountain, bed, iPad could be accommodated as well. Once I got there today, the staff at the entrance did not let me view the facility. The iPad and bed was a no. I drop my cat but I had a feeling something was odd. Once their webcam was back up. Absolutely positively do NOT recommend. We boarded our year old Black Lab and our year old 100 lb lab/ridgeback mix. This was the first time they had ever been boarded or away from us. Both are usually overly friendly with people and love love playing at the dog park with other dogs and have never shown any type of aggression ever. Terrible communication from staff . Discriminate against pitbulls .. ( my dog plays too much and another dog was agitated) .. my dog was put away.. told my dog was mounting other dogs which he doesn't do, but considering this was a dog place.. you would think they would be knowledgeable and they aren't.
