RecommendedI highly recommend this ER and Chesapeake Veterinary Surgical Specialists. We have 4 dogs and 2 cats and have used their services on multiple occasions. The latest was with our 7 yo Boxer who had collapsed at home. They saw us quickly and even though we couldn't go in because of COVID, Dr. Loveland came outside to us and explained what the plan of treatment for our dog was and helped make a stressful situation better. RecommendedWe just want to thank the doctor and staff at Pet E.R. for the wonderful service they provided. For us, it was a true emergency. An 8 lb Maltese that would not eat, drink or move. They took excellent care of our dog. Talking to us on the phone, and answering the questions we had. It was a relief to know that they are there 24/7 should we ever need them again. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
RecommendedMy dog broke her nail high up in the quick & she was in pain. The drs at Pet+ER were fantastic - took her curbside, removed the nail (she screeched when we tried) and got her all bandaged up. They called when she was ready, answered all questions & brought her out to the car. She's a happy pup now! And the cost was very reasonable. Thank you Pet+ER for taking care of Ellie!
RecommendedThe staff and doctors at Pet ER have been there for our emergencies a few times over the last couple of years. They have always been so kind and provided me with so much information to make the best treatment plan choices for my pet. Forever grateful for all they’ve done and happy to have an emergency animal hospital that I can trust and feel safe with. Highly recommend seeing them if in need for emergency services for your pets.

Both times, the receptionists I spoke to on the phone were knowledgeable, kind, professional, efficient, and polite. They knew what they were doing! The vet, Dr. Loveland, was AMAZING! RecommendedWe just had to let our wonderful Mr. Kitty, aka Chocolate Chip, “Chip” cross the rainbow bridge. Everyone with Pet ER in Columbia was so professional and kind and helpful. He lived a wonderful 18 years and I am glad his passing was dignified and pain-free. Thank you.
