Service was ok and reasonably prompt. I am unhappy with the cost though. A simple office visit for what turned out to be a cold with no tests and about 10 minutes of time with the doctor and they submit a $275 charge to my insurance and I am responsible for over $175 of that. So much for being an affordable alternative. From my experience this is much higher than other immediate care facilities. If you have a high deductible steer clear of this place! I was not impressed with this place. After usually going to Michigan Ave Immediate care I decided to give this place a shot since it was a weekend and I didn't feel like going downtown. I made an appt. using their zip pass system the night before. The woman who greeted me at the front was very nice and i t took about 20 -30 mins to be seen. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of Physicians Immediate Care. I usually go to the one in the loop, but the Six Corners office has better parking, so I thought I'd try it out. The wait was short, the receptionist was nice, but the doctor was really unpleasant. He didn't spend more than two minutes with me. He argued with me about an Amoxicillin allergy I never said I had. As he was half way out the door, I asked him if I could have a prescription for an asthma medication that had lapsed. He mumbled some kind of "sure, sure"... read more
