GARBAGE!! I went on Thursday 12/18. I was sick with the flu and I could barely speak. Matter fact the staff could barely understand me because I was so hoarse. I told the nurse and dr that it felt like knives in the back of my throat every time I swallow. They diagnosed me with the flu and prescribed me some cough syrup. 12/21 I get a voice mail from a guy from this facility asking me to call back. I call the number he provided from the voice mail and surprise surprise no staff member at this facility can account for this me... read more

I've been going there for years. I tore my ACL and and received relatively inexpensive care (I have good insurance). This summer I jammed my finger playing softball and against my better judgment went in to have them take a look at it. They charged me for a "repair of a finger tendon" it was $319.51 after insurance. How is it possible they examined me for an ACL tear and charged me $15 and then go and charge me $319.51 for putting a splint on my finger? I called them let them know that there was no repair of the tendon m... read more
This place should really take out "immediate" and "urgent" out of their name. This was my second visit here and pretty much went the same way as the first one. Come in, register, be told that they are only three people in front of you so it shouldn't be long. Wait for an hour in the waiting room until your name is called by the nurse. Then be told that the doctor still needs to see 3 patients in front of you and it will be a little while to see the doctor. Half hour later the doctor comes in and says "so you have a sinus inf... read more
A Complaint was filed with the Better Business Bureau which was "Administratively" closed earlier today on 5/5/2014. The Better Business Bureau determined that Physicians Immediate Care made no effort to resolve the complaint that i had filed. Physicians Immediate Care instead choose to pass the blame onto me for their billing mistakes. It seems that it's my fault that they called someone else's phone number and never mailed a bill to me. I'm glad that the Better Business Bureau has made my complaint public so that everyone ... read more
This is my first (negative) yelp review, as I am not easily offended. I am a physician and went in for a routine drug screen required by my new employer. I was treated rudely by both staff members I had to deal with. At 10:00am on a weekday, there were 2 customers there before me. It still took me over an hour for the very simple process. I have NEVER heard of a clinic for an employment drug screen where 1) they do not have lockers for your purse/belongings as you cannot take it in with you to the bathroom. 2) they do not ex... read more
DO NOT come to this place. It's not safe! Had two bad cuts on my hand doctor took an X-ray to see if it was "fractured". Are u stupid? I cut it on glass! Then he wanted to give sutures. Understandable as that's what I came here for. Well the doctor (Dr Epner) started stitching me up WITHOUT any anesthesia. NOTHING! Halfway through he was shaking and started saying "oh dear, I forgot anesthesia. That's not good, we aren't in Russia are we?" Seriously?! You freaking kidding me. The doctor here is a quack! DO NOT GO.
Business response:
Often an x-ray is necessary to ensure that a cut from fractured glass did not leave a shard in the wound. Any foreign body would need to be removed before suturing. We are sorry that you had an uncomfortable experience. Our Quality & Compliance team will reach out to you to address the concerns that you have raised. We hope that your injury is healing well, B.M."
The people were very nice here, and the price reasonable if you direct pay. My BIG complaint is that when you go to their site you can sign up for a ZIP PASS which leads you to believe it will have you limiting your wait time based on the fact you get to select the next available time.... IT IS NOT TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went in with a horrible sinus infection and the allotted time which was 15 minutes before the time I selected as per their instrucions... unfortunately I was in the waiting room fo... read more
I don't know what is happening with Physicians Immediate Care. I have been a patient at the Cicero Ave. location for over 30 years and sent employees for workers comp. treatment for 16 years. Now suddenly we are treated like new patients. Their new policy is if you have not visited in one year, you are a new patient. The charge to walk in the door is $360.00. That is double or triple comparable providers I and my employees have used. While my family, employees and I have been treated well by the on site staff, their bi... read more
I went there to get evaluated for flu like symptoms in behalf of my job. After a basic evaluation and a few questions, I was told by someone who wasn't a real doctor but from an assistant that to go back to work the same day. After I questioned him why he made that decision, he implied with a sarcastic smirck on his face that I was lying about my condition. Everyone else in the office was polite except the wanna-be doctor that you should expect the utmost professionalism. Guess that's too much to ask for in this clinic.
