Updated only because I ended up rage-twittering and had somebody contact me via twitter and attempt to resolve this. I ultimately had to return to the clinic during their business hours with a photocopy of my original insurance card... which they totally accepted this time even though it had never changed. I was refunded the difference of what I paid so I only had to pay the copay. But I also had to spend at least an hour of my free time resolving this, plus a return visit. At least my illness was treated appropriately.

Avoid this place. Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon with a sinus infection. Checked with Admitting on the wait before signing in and was told I would be called next - so about 20 minutes. I signed in and handed over all relevant personal and insurance information. Fast forward and an hour and a half later and I'm back at the admitting desk asking what the delay is. Receptionist has no idea and she looks at me like she has never seen me before. She also won't tell me why people that came in well after I did were called ... read more

EDIT - They agreed to fill my script. Good folks. I would say my initial visit was fine. Needed a couple refills until my insurance kicked in over the course of the next 2 months. Great. As a bonus I was told I could get a couple more refills without having to pay the $150 visit charge. This was stated directly to me by PA Jack Enter. Called today, a month later, and was told this time by Dr. Bayer they WOULD NOT refill my Rx but they would gladly see me again for another $150. Very shady practice! Came here today, sitting in a room at the moment, for a spider bite. I made an appt online for 12pm. It's now, 1247 and I have YET to see a physician... For a spider bite? All I need are antibiotics for this bite. Now I'll be heading to work late , for an appt that should've lasted 20mins. I'm beyond frustrated. If I would have gone to CVS this process would have been 1,2,3.

GARBAGE!! I went on Thursday 12/18. I was sick with the flu and I could barely speak. Matter fact the staff could barely understand me because I was so hoarse. I told the nurse and dr that it felt like knives in the back of my throat every time I swallow. They diagnosed me with the flu and prescribed me some cough syrup. 12/21 I get a voice mail from a guy from this facility asking me to call back. I've been going there for years. I tore my ACL and and received relatively inexpensive care (I have good insurance). This summer I jammed my finger playing softball and against my better judgment went in to have them take a look at it. They charged me for a "repair of a finger tendon" it was $319.51 after insurance. How is it possible they examined me for an ACL tear and charged me $15 and then go and charge me $319.51 for putting a splint on my finger? This place should really take out "immediate" and "urgent" out of their name. This was my second visit here and pretty much went the same way as the first one. Come in, register, be told that they are only three people in front of you so it shouldn't be long. Wait for an hour in the waiting room until your name is called by the nurse. Then be told that the doctor still needs to see 3 patients in front of you and it will be a little while to see the doctor. A Complaint was filed with the Better Business Bureau which was "Administratively" closed earlier today on 5/5/2014. The Better Business Bureau determined that Physicians Immediate Care made no effort to resolve the complaint that i had filed. Physicians Immediate Care instead choose to pass the blame onto me for their billing mistakes. It seems that it's my fault that they called someone else's phone number and never mailed a bill to me. This is my first (negative) yelp review, as I am not easily offended. I am a physician and went in for a routine drug screen required by my new employer. I was treated rudely by both staff members I had to deal with. At 10:00am on a weekday, there were 2 customers there before me. It still took me over an hour for the very simple process.
