It is extremely rare for me to make a negative review but I wish it was possible to give 0 or 0.5 stars. The pros? Was seen almost immediately upon visiting and they had Rice Krispie treats in the lobby. Also, the receptionist and woman who did the billing were extremely friendly and helpful. The nurse and doctor could not have been colder. The doctor was condescending, treated me like an idiot, and completely misdiagnosed my injury. I went in for pain on the top of my foot after a marathon...not soreness or aches. Pain lev... read more

Thank you Andrea for the feedback on your experience. Any time one of our patient's expectations are not met, we are just as disappointed as the patient as we strive for nothing short of excellence from both the facility experience and clinical outcome. We would like to talk to you personally about this matter to get a better perspective of what went wrong with your experience; you can private message me or contact us at 773-886-1500. Thanks again for your feedback.

I went in because I get bad throat infections ~once every year or two and sometimes they are bacterial. I got into the room and nurse took vitals. 15 mins later the doc rolled in and immediately told me it was viral. I probed her a bit more and she opted for the strep test 2 minutes later (I was mainly interested because I didn't want to have to go back so why not since they are harmless). They gave me some instant strep test where they draw blood from my finger. The nurse had to prick me 3 times and in the end she jus... read more

I caution the reviewer who only had a $30 co-pay. Wait until you receive your final bill. I made a $20 co-pay at the time of service and received a bill six months later for $376, of which I owed $187 ... for a strep test?!?!? When I inquired they told me that they had to bill me as a "new patient" which represented $260 of the $376 bill. I certainly won't be going back so becoming a new patient in their system is irrelevant to me. I will pay the bill, as I won't run the risk of jeopardizing my credit score, but I h... read more

I have to write a review, because this was such a bad experience and I think people who are seeking medical care deserve more than great parking and quick service. They deserve a correct diagnoses. I had pinkeye. I wanted to get medication fast, so I visited Immediate MD. The young Indian doctor that saw me quickly ruled out "pinkeye" and told me I had some sort of eye infection. She prescribed a $40 eye drop bottle and told me it should be better within 3 days. Bill was $260 for this service. Three days later my eye ... read more

Business response:

Lauren, we are as disappointed as you are that we didn't exceed your expectations at Immediate MD. Thankfully most patients we see have positive outcomes due to our protocol with ensuring that a patient is not only treated by a doctor when at our facility, but also ensuring that there is a call back to that patient two days later to see how that individual is responding to the treatment plan we provided. At that time if the treatment plan is not working, our doctor will either recommend staying on course for more time, ch... read more

I wish I could give this 0 stars. I injured my arm 4 weeks ago weight lifting. I went to Immediate MD and I was dismissed with tendonitis, given an anti-inflammatory, after they spent like 5 minutes with me. I went over my symptoms, at the gym, doing preacher curls, felt a pop and a lot of pain. If you simply google these symptoms, it comes back with distal bicep tendon rupture. No x-rays or anything from Immediate MD. After following up with my orthopedic doctor, sure enough, total distal bicep tendon rupture. This t... read more

Business response:

T.A.--Thank you for visiting Immediate MD and for the feedback. We only strive for excellence and are just as disappointed when we don't exceed our patients' expectations. Thankfully the majority of our outcomes are positive ones. We try to minimize any potential issues of negative outcomes by ensuring all patients are seen and evaluated by a physician, doing a follow up phone call two days after visits to see if our patients are improving, and by providing specialist referrals in the event that the presenting issue requi... read more
